Clever niche

The quality of the food and drink is quite good. Plenty of peanut butter options and not much else. It's your spot if you're looking for a novelty to try out but certainly not if you're trying to cater to diverse interests. Worth a stop if you can make it.

We weren't disappointed, but I think it's a better deli for peanut butter than to eat there. The food is really good, but ultimately it boils down to the fact we spent $8 on a pb&j sandwich. If a high priced pb&j isn't an issue with you, then you'll like it. It's small and quaint, and very clean.

I never thought I would love peanut butter sandwiches so much! We were walking around near Washington Sqaure park and were a little hungry. We didn't won't a big meal so we stopped in for a sandwich. We had the cookie dough surprise sandwich. ( peanut butter, vanilla cream cheese and chocolate chips.) It was heavenly. I would love to... More

This is the perfect treat for all us peanut butter lovers! We hunted this down when we were in New York and were not disappointed... I ordered the Elvis after the sandwich the King used to munch upon himself!! A warm welcome and some tasty treats....I took home a pot of Cinnamon swirl PB, which is now all gone. Get... More

Mmm. The Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Sandwich is super duper good. The middle bite alone is worth $7.25. The Black & Tan sandwich is $6.25. It's peanut butter and chocolate syrup on toast. No thanks. Wait a minute...The Heat Is On Sandwich...spicy peanut butter with chilled grilled chicken and pineapple jam...$7.75. Sold. Try making that one at home with the items... More

Accidentally arrived there (a friend gave me a list of places and it was on my way), loved the variety of the menu, took a bite and loved every piece.

I'm a total pb fan, but till today hadn't experimented too much! So I decided to begin with the flutternutter. I got the sandwich to take away, because I was on wallkabout in the Village. Good idea! The sandwich was too much for me to have in one sitting! The range of flavours of pb is fantastic. The cinnamon and... More

My husband & I, along with our 2 teenagers, enjoyed a visit to this quaint LITTLE spot, in NYC. Seating is extremely limited, but if u place an order, you are guaranteed the next available table! We all ordered "The Elvis," 3 of which we added bacon....tasty, but THICK, lol. Definitely need something to wash it down with! We also... More

I just love this place. My wife and I have lunch here once every time we visit NYC. This time, we are traveling with our 7yo son, and decided to take him. He couldn't decide on what he wanted but went with the fluffernutter. He loved it! I had the Elvis with bacon added (again) -- never disappoints! I was... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
