The Peanut Butter & Co. Sandwich Shop opened in 1998 and is the heart and soul of our business. Whether you're a college student looking for a quick PB&J in between classes, a Greenwich Village resident dropping by for a slice of our famous Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie in the afternoon, an Upper East Sider picking up some peanut butter cookies to much on while shopping in SoHo, or a visitor from out of town who wants to try our Death By Peanut Butter Sundae, we look forward to seeing you!

Cute place, great food

If you have ever had their peanut butter you will be in for a surprise when you see the menu options of choices. It takes awhile to get your food for it being a peanut butter sandwich but it's worth the wait!!

The last time I was there was a couple of years ago. Went back today and saw they're even better. The sandwiches are as delicious as always, but innovations like the powdered peanut butter have made the place even more of a must-visit than before.

Sometimes one goes to a spot they see on TV and it disappoints no end. Not Peanut Butter &Co. I hadn't had fresh made peanut butter this good since I was a kid and would go on family trips to PA Dutch country. We split a crunchy PB BLT on wheat toast. Almost too good for words. And a glass... So I love that this exists in the West Village. There is a small menu of different peanut butter sandwich creations; both sweet and savory. I've tried a few and they have all been delicious. Peanut Butter Co peanut butters are amazing. They are really high quality and organic and tasty. Prices are pretty reasonable. My only gripe is that... More

This restaurant was featured on a TV show and luckily during a trip to New York, I found it was just a few blocks away. Although $8 for a peanut butter and something sandwich may seem expensive, you definitely get your money's worth. I ordered four sandwiches: the Elvis, White Wonderful, Hot Thai, and (for my unadventurous husband), Chicken Salad.... More

This is just such a great place to bring the whole family - kids love it, and adults are surprised at how good it is. There are also coupons ALL OVER the place to get their menu items at half price, so make sure you buy some kind of groupon or something to save even more!

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
