Delicious pastas, energetic vibe

This is a great spot for the visitor to hit for dinner in NYC. The food is fresh and delicious. The wines are well selected and match with the food. The vibe is young and energetic. A bit loud if you don't mind. I loved it.

Before I even arrived in NYC I knew this would be a location that I had to get too. I enjoyed my penne arrabiata and its was better than I had remembered. I went there when it was just opened for lunch so I did not have to wait for a table. Had a relaxing lunch and did not feel... More

As long as you know your going to be rushed out you'll have a outstanding meal & time. I've been coming to Bar Pitti time and time again. The difference between my first and second visit and say my tenth is now I know what I'm in for. The place is tiny and has a very quick turn around. Don't... More

Excellent place for fresh pasta without any pretentiousness. I've been to both Da Silvano next door and Bar Pitti and the value of course is at Bar Pitti. The food is fantastic. The only negative is that it's always so crowded and loud, the decor bare bones. I hate having my neighbors practically on top of me while I'm eating... More

We came for lunch, I ate the penne arrabiata witch was good, my husband had the salame sandwitch. Also good. Be aware however that while the food is priced ok, the beer is almost the same as an entre, and so is the water. When we asked for the bill they had added a 20% tip onto the handwritten bill,... A friend who lives in the Village highly recommended this place, so a group of us went. They only take reservations early, so we changed our reservation to accommodate their rules. The place is packed -- good for them. The serve was mediocre, the food was mediocre, annd after an hour and a half they asked us to leave. What... More

If you are looking for true Italian food then look no more. This place has the best food. The wait time was not bad, around 15 minutes for a table but it was so worth the wait. The staff was super friendly and explained the menu very well. The price was very reasonable for lunch around 20 dollars. This will... More

We came here after so many times we passed by any saw that the place is always busy so we wanted to see what's the buzz is all about. The food was below average, service on the edge of rude and the prices... Oy vey... The feel was of a complete rip off. There are so many better Italian places... More

Excellent, authentic Italian food! We had the Burratta, Shrimps in Tomato Sauce, Tagliatelle Bolognese (a must) and another red sauce pasta with artichokes (I can't remember it's name). Service was not so good. That's why it's not a 5/5 review. The place is small, warm, loud and full of Italians.
