Spice market is a beautifully decorated place, the food and service were wonderful. My husband and I were enjoying a lovely dinner, sure we had to wait mrs than 30 minutes for the table but it is forgiven. However, our night took an abrupt tun for the worst when I overheard some nasty comments the manager made to one of... More

Great meal on monday night August 18th, 2014. A favourite of my daughter's, did not know exactly what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised by the decor, the vibe and of course the food. Arrived without a reservation at around 9PM; the place was packed. Waited at the bar for about 50 minutes but the wait was worth it.... More

The ginger margaritas are great. We ordered the summer lobster roll. It was done sushi roll style, small amount of lobster, more of the vermicelli and carrots and overpowered by dill. The citrus glee was a nice touch but the flavors did not blend well. Overall bland. Don't waste your money. For the same price get the lobster roll from... More

Family dining to me, means that a family sits down and eats together. Very straightforward. However, at the Spice Market, it doesn't mean this. It means the kitchen takes the pressure off themselves and sends out what you've ordered at random junctures over a 45 minute period. Hopeless. For 2 of us, food came out in such a pattern that... It's a beautiful restaurant, very cozy and romantic place, ideal for a dinner for two on a special night. the service is good, the food is great, good wine and a fair price There is a waiting queue, which is not quite an ordeal, but be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table, even with a reservation.

Chef Jean George should check his very nice restaurant in the meat packing district, because the service and the staff are not what they used to be. The staff is not very attentive, we didn't have the warm napkins that they offer at the beginning of the dinner and when we asked they were offered cold. We had to ask... More

Loved this restaurant! Our Concierge told us about it as a restaurant to celebrate our daughter's 21st Birthday as we were in NY on the actual day. My daughter loves Asian Food, so we headed here after sunset at The Empire State Building. Beautiful setting, great staff, decor was amazing and of course the food was excellent.

been going for years. reasonable wine list. great to take large groups. if seven or more contact them directly and consider a private room. impressive and fun. howver take a sweater or jacket in summer as AC was blowing. consider the pre-set group dinner options, something for everyone, and more than enough food.
