Just had dinner @ Spice Market last night. Ambiance is a 10+, Food & Service a solid 8. Spice Market holds up over time. Love the antique wood. Menu was very diverse and everything tasty.

We visit spice market London at least twice a year so we knew what to expect. The food is meant to be shared and it doesn't come all at once. The food in New York was up to its usual standard. It tasted fresh and was full of the right flavours. Service was a bit less. For the first time... More

After a beautiful walk on the highline which was beautiful we went for dinner. The spice market is everything we dont have in Milan. Music good, decor excellent and original and service really good. The food was delicious and portions a nice size I highly recommend it

A restaurant with this reputation should employ staff who can effectively communicate with each other and the customer. This was not our experience during a recent lunch visit. After being seated, we waited 45 minutes to be served. Unfortunately, we were served our entree before our appetizer because that was "ready" first. Then we had to wait another half hour... More

We booked a table for 9:30 and were there at that time, we were then told to wait at the bar until they called us over. We waited almost an hour until we were seated... For a rather large restaurant I thought this was a long wait. It was recommended by our waitress to order 3 starters and 3 mains... More

I was there with 2 friends for a Restaurant Week lunch. Two of us ordered from the special menu and the other from the regular one. The appetizer from the regular menu arrived after a long wait but the other two still hadn't arrived after 45 minutes, despite the fact that we asked the waiter about it several times. He... More

We went to this restaurant tonight for a special 30th birthday. The evening started off with a long wait to be seated and staff who clearly don't care. I approached the entrance staff to enquire when our table would be available and I was basically told to 'go back to the bar and you will be seated when we are... More

Went here this past Thursday with 3 other couples for dinner. !st visit and loved the decor, vibe, and seating options. A very large restaurant that has 2 floors ( main & downstairs ) and 2 great bars. Our night was a cool breezy one and they had all the large window doors open looking outside. We sat down with... I had heard great things about the restaurant and read the reviews. Went for dinner on a special birthday trip to NY and we were a little under wowed with the service. We really did not feel cared for. There was a mistake with one of the mains and we were not kept informed with what was happening (although this... More

Had high hopes of the Spice Market as a few people had recommended it to me but sadly it did not live up to expectations. The place was lively and had a great atmosphere but the food was disappointing. There was a lack of main course vegetarian options so I had the noodles with prawns which really I could have... More
