Good food if slightly overpriced

Being London Sushi Samba fans we thought we would give this a try. The ambiance is slightly off putting with loud music and not so great decor. The cocktails were good, and the more novel sushi creations delicious. The only downside - no ceviches!

I still don't understand the mix but they really do have caipirinha with real Brazilian cachaça. Liked and will be back to for dinner another day. They have muqueca in the menu. I need to try.

Sushi was just average for the high prices. We also had the Cuban mixed grill which was also expensive but enough to share. Probably will not go back

Had dinner with a few work mates and enjoyed soooo much the experience! The food was fantastic and the service pretty good too, I would recommend it for a date, business or just to go with friends, just be aware that is quite expensive.

$26 for 7 small pieces of mediocre sushi - $10 for a seaweed salad which is not listed on the menu - $6 for a small and mediocre piece of uni -

The sushi was good, but horribly overpriced. Ambiance was nice and personnel was friendly bur there are plenty of other restaurants that offer the same for less.

We stopped here for the best ever s'mores and a drink, unfortunately they were out of the wine that we wanted, however the waiter was wonderful and so apologetic. He even bought us out a port to try for no charge. We sat outside and loved it and great friendly service.

Get the all your can eat and drink deal it is well worth it. The only dislike would be it can get really busy and you may have a delay before your server returns.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
