Great little restaurant

We stopped here for the best ever s'mores and a drink, unfortunately they were out of the wine that we wanted, however the waiter was wonderful and so apologetic. He even bought us out a port to try for no charge. We sat outside and loved it and great friendly service.

The sushi was good, but horribly overpriced. Ambiance was nice and personnel was friendly bur there are plenty of other restaurants that offer the same for less.

Get the all your can eat and drink deal it is well worth it. The only dislike would be it can get really busy and you may have a delay before your server returns.

The idea of fusion food can be fun, but this restaurant is a disappointment. The waiter gave a long-winded and flowery presentation of a number of tems on the menu. The food was OK, but I only received a half-measure of wine in my glass. The music was loud and intrusive.

This Sushi Samba location has No Pride of Ownership. The restaurant has dirty floors, dirty walls, worn out furniture, a bar lounge that needs to be cleaned and refreshed. It really kills the atmosphere to be in a place that looks like they haven't cleaned or taken care of for years. Based upon the condition of this restaurant, I would... More

Our team takes the utmost care of the restaurant space. The location was fully renovated in 2013 and currently meets the highest of standards for cleanliness. New York City is notorious for hosting high volumes of people and we’re the first to admit that keeping upholstery and other areas fresh can be a challenge – but one we take seriously!... More

We are big fans of this restaurant! We, however, started off with some less than ideal service this most recent visit. They offer a tasting menu, which is ideal for the adventurous. There is no set price for the tasting menu, so it is up to the wait staff to discuss what you might be interested in, and what your... More

Brazilian food infused with Japanese food, or is it the other way around? Nonetheless it was lovely and great. I'm really looking forward to our next meal there. The waitstaff were helpful and friendly and the fusion food was exceptional. Happy days!

Restaurant is a bit quarky versus the modern and cool location in Las Vegas. Service was ok but quite slow at times. Food was not as great as expected based on experiences at other locations. The rock shrimp was not very crispy, more of a soggie texture. The sashimi in coconut bowl was really good.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
