Consistently the most delicious gf menu in NY. The pizzas, pastas and risottos are crafted by a coeliac who, disenchanted with typical, stodgy gf options started their own place. Arrive early, or book, as it's a tiny joint that packs the locals in. Portions are decent and on our most recent visit we shared a pizza (meat lovers style) and... More

I have celiac disease and Risotteria is manna from heaven. The space is cozy, and the servers are professional but also friendly and funny. I ordered arugala, portobello and gruyere Risotto, which was rich and multi-variant in flavour. We also had cheesy breadsticks, side salad (super fresh) and a brownie for dessert. All told a great experience. I will go... More

This is a small restaurant in a very popular part of NYC - the GF menu is extensive and is a delight if that is a requirement. There is a pretty fast turnaround of tables, but be prepared to wait for 15-20 minutes for a table, although that gives you chance to explore the menu and GF drinks list. Food... More

Went here on a Tuesday evening and just got a table. It's a very small restaurant with a friendly and cosy feel to it. The gluten free menu really is extensive although on the day we visited there was no white wine which was a shame. There are loads of risottos to choose from and most of the customers seemed... More

One of the interesting aspects of our visit to New York City is the absence of appreciation of gluten-free restaurants or offerings of gluten-free menu items. Risotteria caters to the gluten-intolerant diners. Although they do have regular bread and pizza dough, this small restaurant (about 28 chairs) caters to those with gluten-sensitivity. The breadsticks were too good to believe they... More

We were there on a Thursday during lunch. Opened at 12 noon that day. Small number of available seats. Practically everything on the menu is available in a Gluten Free form. Very unusual for a restaurant that is not exclusively gluten free. They have a separate preparation area for the GF items, with is excellent. Friendly, informative staff. There are... More

Welcome to a celiac diner's definition of heaven. It's not a 100% gluten-free dedicated restaurant, but it's pretty darn close. At least 90% of the menu is gluten free. The signature risotto dishes are fabulous. The gluten free bread sticks are a luxurious treat, and the staff really knows what they are doing. This tiny restaurant in Greenwich Village feels... More

How nice is it the hear when you ask for the gluten free menu, “you’re looking at it”. Literally everything on the menu is (or can be) gluten free (including the free breadsticks). We went two times in two days. The risotto’s are great as are the gluten free pizza’s. And the desserts.. I had the ‘milk pie’ (or something... More

I don't remember why we were in the West Village on a Saturday last October. But we were hungry and decided to try our luck on Bleecker Street. After all, there are many restaurants there, even if some of them are tourist traps/NYU student hang-outs with crazy long wait times (John's Pizzeria, anyone?). After walking up and down a bit,... What a jem! To get true Italian style pizza, fully gluten free. Blew my mind! The starter & side salads were also excellent, the staff lovely, the service great, AND they had the best selection of GF beer I've seen... well anywhere actually! Loved it. Wish I lived in NYC so I could go there all the time :)
