I had a late night reservation here celebrating a birthday. A huge qualm I have with this place was that the prices did not seem to justify the food. We ordered a huge variety of appetizers and two very different entrees/deserts, but nothing stood out (taste wise) and seemed very mediocre (for the price we were paying). This place did... More

Very trendy, chic and tasty restaurant in Soho. Had an excellent lunch with corresponding service quality. Definitely recommended.

We went there for breakfast, awesome place and better food. One of the best eggs benedict I have ever had. Good service.

This place seems to be a very good place for breakfast/brunch and looked very popular. Lots of people and lots of staff. Service is good. I really liked the atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious. Maybe a bit pricy, but it's in the middle of Soho. I could easily eat here again. Try the brioche French toast. It melts in your... More

Loved the atmosphere here. It was packed even at 2.30 in the afternoon. Glad we booked or we would not have been able to get in. We had a lovely meal here. Service was efficient and quick and very helpful. Would go there again. Very mixed crowd of people, but noise not overpowering.

Went to NYC with a group of friends last weekend. Stumble upon Balthazar and knew we wanted to eat there. The ambiance was full of energy and all the dishes being served looked amazing. I started with a Cosmo (they have a beautiful very full bar) and then a scrumptious onion soup. I thoroughly enjoyed a roasted lamb sandwich. Unfortunately... More

Went for breakfast, we hadn't booked so were lucky to get in as it was busy. Omelette and fries were well cooked. Great coffee, our waitress was very business like. Quick service. Warm French decor, would definitely return.

I've been a long time client of Pastis. I live in Miami Beach and when I visit New York Pastis was a must. Not so much for the food but for the amazing warm welcome James provided and unparalleled drink mixology ! I stumbled into Balthazar and there he was wearing a tie! If your looking for amazing bloody Mary's... More

We stumbled across Balthazar one Sunday morning and were not disappointed! The service was excellent, the food tasty with generous portions and the atmosphere that of a grand French eatery. I will definitely be seeking out the London one now I am home!

Had a great lunch here and thankfully we had taken the advice of others and booked first. We arrived at 12.30pm and by 1.15 the place was heaving. The staff all knew what they we're doing and that made a huge difference especially as it was so busy. The food was delicious mixture of classic French with an American twist.... More
