This brunch was excellent! Eggs with Polenta. Service was great and friendly not the typical american friendly - just friendly, I had the feeling she really cared. Not a cheap restaurant. A nice atmosphere, growded. Reservation is needed for the typical eating hours. The Beckhams were there after Vickys show in septembers fashion week.

Came here for lunch this weekend. Make sure you make reservations. The line was out the door, and there was a 2 hour wait for those without reservations. The seating is like in Europe, you rub elbows with your neighbors. We ordered the escargot, which was well prepared. I had the Coq a Vin over polenta [probably the best version... More

It's your traditional french bistro along spring st in soho, serving decent quality french bistro classics, lively atmosphere & excellent service! It's a safe choice for a meal and drinks after an exhausting day of shopping or roaming the streets of soho with friends but don't expect to be blown away with food.

Went here for lunch with friends. Love the fun French atmosphere. Food was very good. Service was very good. Extremely busy place. Reservations are a must. If you love French food and fresh seafood this is the place to go. Great location in Soho!!

Restaurant is noisy, they may isolate a little. Food was just good, the only thing that called my attention was the Steak tartar, was very good. staff was friendly. But i can go somewhere else and spend that kind of money for something better.

Living in New York where there are so many new restaurants opening so often, it's nice to take a break from discovering the new ones and return to old favorites. Balthazar, and all the McNally restaurants have long been at the top of our list, and we have been to them all. We returned for lunch and had a wonderful... More

An unexpected French Bistro throwback right in the centre of bussling SoHo. Authentic decor and cuisine, extensive seafood and oyster bar. Great service and a price tag to match. Will be back!

This is probably one of those old world establishments that anyone in NY who wishes to experience should do once in their life. From breakfast to dinner this restaurant does not miss a beat. The service is excellent the food well prepared and presented and the atmosphere electric in this old world feel of nostalgia. I came here on two... More

We first stumbled upon Balthazar back in 2002 and decided we had to revisit on our latest trip to NYC. It's still as good as we first remembered. The restaurant is buzzing with a great ambiance, delightful decor and the food is still superb. We pre-booked a table for Sunday Brunch weeks before leaving Scotland and it was just as... More

We were highly recommended to visit here and glad we followed the advice. What a warm, welcoming and busy place. Very Parisienne feel to the setting and just as chaotic in appearance but actually very efficient in service and offerings. The steak frites were ordered by most of our party and we all got exactly what we ordered; great food... More
