My daughter and I went on the spur of the moment when the restaurant was very crowded. We were seated at a tiny table near the bar. They brought us amazing drinks and then some of the best dessert we have have eaten. I will be going back for dinner on my next trip.

So many people recommend it, it just feels a little bit too promoted. Everyone tries to book in advance and I was actually there twice and happened to find a place because of others no shows. It's in soho, so give it a try. Good basket of pastries, I should add. My scale will too. 😃😃

Arrived with a confirmed booking after walking 20 blocks, so soaked through, including pants! Turns out I had booked for the following night by mistake. Duh! The lovely man said not to worry, he would sort it out. ( I think he thought we were just mad and English for setting out). He found up a table with lovely Indian... More

We arrived at the Restaurant soaking wet from a sudden torrential downpour looking like drowned rats only to find our booking had been made for the following night by mistake - no problem we were quickly guided to a table despite being really busy, our wet things were placed into bags even the umbrellas had sleeved to stop them dripping... One of my favorite French restaurants in NYC. Fun, casual bistro atmosphere with delicious food - amazing steak frites. Reservation a must. french toast there is amazing . And if you like dark chocolate, so is their hot chocolate.

The food was great and menu was very creative. The decor of the restaurant was beautiful however there was not much space for each table and the noise level was pretty high.

We made a reservation for breakfast 2 wks in advance. I suggest you do that. The breakfast was very delicious. All 4 people we ordered different types of eggery. All were great. You must try the eggs. We also asked for a bread basket whicj came along with some butter and jam. It had various kinds of breads with nuts,... More

Without any reservation, they found us a table for lunch, by the window, after only five minutes of waiting at the bar with some drinks. Food was delicious, in particular the sole as plat du jour, and I appreciated the variety of the panier du pain and the selection of brut champagne. Excellent service. Outstanding atmosphere. It's absolutely worth a... More

Outstanding meal for our last night in NYC. Noisy and bustling with loads of action, and FANTASTIC food. Diverse menu; one of us had cod, the other steak frites. A real pleasure.
