The atmosphere was buzzing already by 6-30pm in the evening. Was given a great table in the corner looking out over the whole restaurant. Food was sensational. Couldn't fault the restaurant one bit. more

Brunch/ breakfast was great...it's meant for sharing especially for Asian appetite. Love the old interior feel of the place. Servers were very attentive. It's also kid friendly. more

Very lively place. Great for brkfst + brunch. The goat cheese onion tart is what i like most here...the scrambled egg with puff is decent too...try the norwegian egg if u like salmon or the egg benedict if u like pork. more

We have an unwritten rule that when we are in NYC we never eat at the same restaurant twice, unless, of course, it is Balthazar. We have been eating there every year for the past 5 years and usually two or three times per trip. A really French-style brasserie - crowded and loud, just like it should be. Everything was great. Just one point, which I made to our server, is that I had monkfish, which was wrapped in bacon. The bacon was so heavily smoked that it totally overpowered the fish, which was a real shame. A bit more thought would have avoided that. more
