Great Mexican, Great Price

They have a hornitas margarita that is delicious. I also enjoyed their Mole and fried chalupa burrito. The price was fair and the food was good. Also have tortilla soup for cold days.

My partner and I stumbled on this place after walking around hungry trying to find something open. We were greeted by friendly staff and it immediately felt like a great atmosphere (and they bring you free tortilla chips and salsa). I ordered the combo plate with veggie and black bean burrito and enchilada and my partner had a quesidilla. We... More

So the food isn't anything special here. I ordered the La Bomba burrito. The sauce that came on the burrito was too overpowering and not very good, but scraping the sauce off with my folk mainly solved that problem. Even with the sauce removed, however, the burrito wasn't anything special. The guacamole, while of good/high quality, needed some acid profile... More

I love Tortilla Flats. Great drinks, great music, awesome staff, and NEVER a boring time. Hands down my favorite drinking establishment in the West Village!

Best place in all NYC for anything you ever want to do. Yes sounds like a broad statement but it's true. Great food - great people and always fun. Don't miss it.

Service was negligent, food was pretty bad. The guacamole was diluted and tasted vinegary. Chicken enchiladas, brought out 5 minutes after we ordered, tasted like days of refrigeration, not much other flavor, refried beans and rice were recognizable by consistency, but not taste. And Montezuma's revenge hit 6 hours later.

There were 3 of us for lunch and we were all surprised by the size of our platters of food. Tasty stuff and served swiftly. Friendly waitstaff too. We sat outside in the sidewalk tables on a lovely spring day.

Good fun restaurant in a good spot close to Greenwich and the river (good for walking off a meal by the river after). The place is decorated with shiny ribbon kind of things which makes it bright and fun as soon as you walk in. I had fajita salad and was pretty impressed. Certainly filled me up for lunch! :)

The food was great. Wouldn't suggest their sangria, not good at all. Went on a Friday night, quite busy with locals. Very loud, but everyone seemed to be having a great time

Loved this place, really lively and good food. The nacho tray is just awesome! They have theme nights during the week which makes for an entertaining meal.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
