Food was excellent!! great salads, fresh fish and lamb dish tasted great. Unfortunately, crowded and noisy bustle made conversation nearly impossible, Additional negative, taxi ride back and forth was about $60 plus the traffic anguish. Not worth special trip for us.

We were pleasantly surprised when looking at the menu that this highly recommended trendy restaurant offered an abundance of dishes, all very reasonably priced. The sommelier (not guilded) was knowledgeable and very helpful, the waiting staff all friendly and attendtive. Food was great, but the atmosphere was fab. Everywhere we looked people were having a good time. No one on... More

We had a small group of about 18 people and was able to reserve a private dining room (one of the few in the area). 1) Service was excellent, professional, very attentive and attention to detail. 2) Food was excellent. I had the Filet of Beef entre. Cooked to perfection (medium), tender and great steak taste. 3) Ambience is very... More

The TriBeCa Gill had a great buzz and was pretty full for a Monday night. The sommelier did us proud with the wine and my starter was wine if the tastiest dishes I've had - pulled beef skirt pancakes. My wife and I both had steak which were well cooked and very tasty and the waitress was really good all... More

This was my second time at the Tribeca grill. And definetly not my last. My first experience was a good one, great service, great food and atmosphere. Beautiful people etc. I ordered of the main menu last time and I never do, had a good meal and left very satisfied. However this time I had a lamb shank that was... More

Sunday brunch at DeNiro's for the 8 of us was a no brainer for the cast and crew of "Where We Begin" (www.wherewebeginfilm.com) that was screening in competition at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of DeNiro's Tribeca film company and run by the executive team that manages Nobu. DeNiro wanted a restaurant... More

Great staff. Mixed clientele lots of suits and a few sweatshirts. Smallish menu. Great starters. Mains duck and steak were both a little overdone. Still a great spot.

We had a delightful dining experience at this rest. Great wait staff and they were super accommodating! Were able to take us 30 min. early since we got there early. Had the scallops and they were divine~

This is a very popular and trendy spot in Tribeca. We had good food and service here on several occasions. It is great for family get-togethers. There are many great places to choose from in Tribeca, Tribeca Grill is certainly one of them.

I've been to Tribeca Grill twice. I've enjoyed my meal both times. My favorite thing to order is a glass of wine and the cheese platter. The restaurant has a large selection of delicious imported cheese. They allow you to choose six samples for your platter. I always have a hard time choosing. Robert DeNiro's artwork fills the hallways to... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
