Good food, excellent wine

We tried different items from beef to salmon and all were prepared nicely. The wine was also a nice compliment and the homemade ice cream. Nice variety of menu in both foods and drinks.

I work in the area and come here often and know it well. The De Niro cache makes it suitable for business because it feels like you are going "somewhere". However when it gets down to the food and service which is all fine and OK, it is simply overpriced and overrated. It's all fine just not special.

Found this on Trip advisor while walking. Thank you trip advisor app as we were struggling with where to eat. I agree with all the high ratings. Yummy food and had a big salad with garden fresh ingredients. Got a table right away. Nice casual atmosphere.

Ate dinner on a Friday night during NYC restaurant week. Close to the subway, and not too far from the 9/11 museum by foot. Food was good, and my niece informed me that the homemade ginger ale was good also. Diners have the option of sitting outside as well as indoors. I'm not giving a "5" for 2 reasons. #1,... More

Nice food. Friendly service, although they messed up our order and then didn't even apologise which kind of threw me. It was ok, but nothing about it was spectacular so given there are so many choices in NYC we won't be back.

I was a bit disappointed on our visit this time. Food and service wasn't great. I'd give it another chance. I loved it first time round.

I had simply one of the finest steaks I have ever eaten last week at this stylish diner, co-owned by Robert de Niro. The vibe is one of ultra-cool, effortless efficiency and absolute quality.

Excellent brunch, good variety of sweet, savory dishes. Great atmosphere, good wine list, excellent decor, what else can you ask for in this nice area? The NY restaurant week brunch was an option, and then you also have a pre fixed menu for every week. Great option at a reasonable price.

We had a gift certificate as part of a trip we purchased at a charity event. We found this restaurant to very good and it was located and the very southern end of Manhattan in a neighborhood with vast amounts of revitalization taking place. The salmon tartar appetizer was excellent and the New York strip steak entree was cooked to... More

Very trendy place in Tribeca. The food was excellent and the service very friendly. Either fish or steak - it is all very delicious. The style of the restaurant is urban - casual with a touch of classic style. Very good place. We will come again.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
