Hadn't been here in a few years. Wondered if it was running on reputation or as good as before. Remarkably, it is better. My spouse's sword fish was beyond exquisite. My scallops and risotta were stunning. The sommelier seemed too young to drink but was extremely knowledgeable and responsive, finding a wonderul Sicilian white that worked beautifully with both dishes.... More

Loved the neighborhood and the restaurant is cute, but food could use an update. Some things were good at our table, some not so much. Could have been the evening. I will go back because the restaurant is legendary and I want to give it another go.

The food and atmosphere are remarkable. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly, attentive. The sommelier was very helpful advicing us 2002 Joseph Phelps from Napa Valley. We had a mouth watering octopus salad. The filet and the duck brest we have chosen were served in a perfect way and were delightful. We were spoiled with the service. The apple... More

I had brunch reservations and entered when the place is pretty empty. The hostess was charming but the manager (a short Asian guy) kept insisting that she show me to these God-awful tables. First, in the back by the service station. Then next to another service station and the door to the bathrooms. Finally, I asked to be seated at... More

Dined here in celebration of my special someone's special birthday! We started with a mixed cheese platter and couple glasses of Pinot Noir followed by a bottle of 2011 Sonoma Coast Wind Gap Syrah. For apps he ordered the Rare Seared Tuna and I ordered the Caesar Salad. For entrees I enjoyed the Salmon with Arugula & White Beans and... More

We were 10 persons big company who celebrated the good finnish of this year TCS NYC marathon, we were together with kids. Thank you our friend - who is expert in wines and champagnes that he booked this charming place before our arriving to NY! The service was in high level. We chose dinner - set 25$ for 3 meals... I have had the privilege to eat in many fine restaurants around the world and i would put this one in my top 5. They have understood how to combine great food and great service without making it pretentious. The atmosphere just adds to the experience. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked and just fell off the bone. Great value... More

I visited here with work colleagues and we had an excellent dinner back in October. I had the scallops which were some of the best that I have had anywhere, huge too, and the steak that my colleague had was good as well. The wine and service were excellent, I would recommend it.

For $25 each, my wife and I both enjoyed a salad (green with a nice vinaigrette for her; Casaer with white anchovies for me), an entree (goat cheese ravioli for her, a delicious salmon with beans and arugula for me) and a dessert (a pumpkin cheesecake for her, a peach tart for me) along with a glass of Bacchus Pinot... We had small family get together just the three of us for what we call dunch - a combination of lunch and dinner at 4pm due to international long haul travel circumstances We took our time and winded up ordering starters from the lunch menu and mains from the dinner menu A little bit pricey but a little bit good...
