Good food, no surprises

Enjoyed a leisurely dinner here with friends. Our favorite dishes: the beet salad, goat cheese ravioli, bread pudding, and creme brulee. The service was wonderful- attentive, not rushed. We requested a quiet table and had a comfy banquette in the back. It was perfect to linger and talk with... read more

Visited this restaurant all three times I've visited NYC and it has never disappointed. Excellent steaks and such a welcoming and friendly service. One of our visits was for a wedding party and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for all of the guests. Would love to visit again.

This time we went to Tribeca Grill for lunch. Previous visits have been for dinner. Service excellent, food excellent and a HUGE winelist. Luckily enough there is a very knowledgeable sommelier who can help you to choose. A visit gives you the chance to admire Mr de Niro SR pictures and painting.

We went here while on a weekend trip to NYC based on friends' recommendations. We weren't disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was very trendy and upscale, yet it wasn't stuffy at all. Robert DeNiro's artwork adorns the walls, which we found interesting and kind of weird, but in a good way. The food was fresh and... More

I had the most exquisite pistachio-crusted swordfish. Our wine steward was excellent and helped us pick a bottle of really nice French red from an under-the-radar vintner. Great old building with great ambiance.

We had been here before just as a couple. This time was a business dinner and it was a huge success. Everyone enjoyed their meal and wine. They were even talking about it the next few days of the trip. It is not often we get such a great response. Perfect place for any occasion as food and service is... More

We booked on Easter Sunday morning for brunch on the same day and had no problem getting a table for 4 at 11.30am. We were a family of 4 and dressed pretty casually (travelling home that day), so we were sat at the back of the restaurant near other families - which was absolutely fine. The food was very well... Was there for dinner a Friday evening. Service very nice and helpful but the menu was a disappointment. Kind of boring dishes. Ended up having a ravioli wish was not that good. Kithchen was so fast we ended up being finished with our meal in under an hour. Fast can be good but not on a Friday night when out... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
