Fun little place

We only had drinks and small plates, but it was quite a cute little place... very comfortable with pleasant staff/servers.

Was lucky enough to fix a table on Valentine's Day and wasn't disappointed. We were ushered into a secondary dining room at the back as the main restaurant was full, but this suited us as the noise levels were so high in the main room, you couldn't hear yourself think. The food was excellent over all three courses as was... More

We had the chance to go to Tribeca Grill for Valentine's day and were very impressed. The food really surpasses our expectations. Very good appetizers, outstanding entrees (the duck was perfect), and really wonderful desserts. Service was likewise attentive and excellent. Pretty good deal for Valentine's Day at $80/person.

We were there for dinner and we were very well impressed from the reviews we read and from the place itself but when it comes to their food, at least what we ordered, nothing was tasty! I had an Octopus salad, which was tasteless. Then I ordered a Steak that came completely dry and salty. I complained. My husband and... More

I expected much more since this is DeNiro's first Tribeca restauarant. The atmosphere is very good, the service is excellent- like all NYC restos - yet the food is average. Disappointed...

This is a beautiful restaurant with the most unusual chandeliers I have ever seen. Robert DeNiro's paintings adorn the walls. Lots of warm wood and a beautiful center bar create an inviting air of comfort. Staff all competent and very nice. Food, overall, was wonderful. Caesar salad could have used a bit more garlic and French onion soup somewhat acidic.... More

The Tribeca Grill opened its doors in 1990. In restaurant terms, that's a long time to be in business, and an extremely long time to be in business at the top of your game. We went on a Saturday night, a party of 6 to celebrate my wife's birthday. I wanted a special, memorable restaurant for this occasion, and I... More

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
