The Tribeca Grill opened its doors in 1990. In restaurant terms, that's a long time to be in business, and an extremely long time to be in business at the top of your game. We went on a Saturday night, a party of 6 to celebrate my wife's birthday. I wanted a special, memorable restaurant for this occasion, and I... More

Enjoyed our meal at Tribeca Grill. Standard restaurant fare we enjoyed the scallops, Duck and Steak. All well cooked and presented and we even got a signed menu from our friendly waiter..nice touch.

2 hours for a 2 course lunch. Absolutely ignored by the wait staff while they fawned over the family of the pastry chef, who were seated at an adjoining table. I had a chopped salad which looked like the remains of someone else's lunch scraped off their plate. Waited forever to have our order taken, to get bread, to get... More

This restaurant is part owned by Robert Dinero. It's in a quiet part of TriBeCa. We have a great experience - a party of 6 of us and we were welcomed warmly from arrival, all through the meal. Just the right amount of attention and balanced with interruptions only when needed by our wonderful wait staff. Our meals ranged from... More

I stopped by the Tribeca Grill for what I had thought would have been a lovely late lunch today and found the food extremely disappointing. By all means avoid the onion soup which bears no resemblance to a true French onion soup. The onion flavor was absent and a heavy Bovril-like unnatural beef flavor overpowered the soup. The topping was... More

Everything (except the service) was just "fine", but I wanted more than just fine. I'm having a hard time coming up with this review because it was all just so average. The service was not fine, it was poor. Ate at the bar which had only a few other customers during our entire stay. We were rushed into dinner and... More

Had a great meal here on Monday night. The menu was very much to our liking. The wine list is biblical as the sommelier said, and the service is superb, staff were very attentive, but not intrusive. Overall highly recommended !

Had supper here at the weekend after just having cocktails on our first night. Just as good as we remembered from our last visit. Local for us this trip as we were staying at The Greenwich next door. Service good, atmosphere good and great food, recommend the short rib bolognase, reasonable price for the area will definately return. Without a... More
