Good Food... Iffy service...

For the price, you can do better in Tribeca. Our food was acceptable, but nothing special during the entire meal. Service was indifferent and spotty. This place used to be a favorite but has fallen from grace.

Every one who visits New York should try this place. It belongs to Robert de Niro. The place is stunning the Staff are friendly and the food is the best.

The place is beautiful, I was expecting a delicious pre fix menu on lunch. The food was regular to bad, maybe is good to have a drink in that place and grab a bite in a food truck, you will have a good time there and better food in the food truck

AMAZING Chateaubriand. You can definitely share food in this place, It's not cheap but great food and buzzy atmosphere.

I came here for lunch with my family. It was nice to be able to sit outside but our table was broke so we had to use our napkins to stabilize it. Our waitress was very polite but did not attend to us enough and we were without bread (after confirmed we would like some). Then my sons grilled cheese... More

Great service. Crowded and noisy setting which makes the place lively in the evening. Bit cramped if you are in a large group.

This tourist couple was drawn in by the De Niro name fully prepared to be disappointed but we were made welcome to a busy and lively restaurant. Staff were efficient and someone competent is managing this place and not relying too much on the celebrity name. It was larger than we expected and large tables of ten or twelve were... More

We had a long boozy lunch today, between us we tried octopus salad, lentil and goats cheese salad, crab cakes and burgers, fries with the skin on and finger potatoes. We had lovely wine, espresso martinis and German beer. We such a kind waiter who humoured us and our questions about Robert de Niro. Great experience, thank you.

I have been going to this downtown haute for many many years but never again! It always feels tired and frankly I am tired of its mediocre service and tired menu and marginal food. This is a classic that should be retired. Enough Said

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
