Antica Venezia has become our favorite restaurant in the city, it is so quaint and relaxed, completely out of the way, with an amazing service staff and delicious food.

Five of us enjoyed a terrific Italian-style dinner in the dim atmosphere of this West Village gem. Although it fronts on the busy West Side Highway, noise from outside (or inside) is not a problem. Service was attentive and prompt. Amuses bouches were tasty freebies as were a choice of homemade after-dinner cordials: “blueberry grappa,” Sambucca with coffee liquor, or... More

We have become regulars at this West Village gem, love the attentive service and the food, the staff is wonderful and they make you fell at home, the fried zucchini is out of this world. the atmosphere, specially at sunset when the sun rays come through the windows is most romantic.

We consider this one of "our" restaurants.. You know, one of those restaurants you frequent and try to hide from everyone else? Well the service and food is so good time and time again.. I had to write a review. Don't miss the grappa at the end of the meal.

If you are on the Westside, this restaurant is a must go to! Service and quality of food is unbeatable. The owners and waiters are so doting and the Italian accent doesn't hurt either. From appetizers to dessert, it is a wonderul experience which me and my family love.

We’ve been here at least a dozen times over the years, since it’s in the neighborhood. It’s a pretty place, with tablecloths, flowers, candles and a fireplace. However, it’s not on the Hudson River, it’s on the Westside Highway. And as my friends learned when trying to speak Italian to the wait staff there, they didn’t understand Italian, as they... More

We had a table of 10, and they took very good care of us. Pasta dishes were terrific, and quite a few specials off the menu. Not cheap, and not fancy, but you feel like your in an old movie in turn of the century NYC. Service is quite laid back, so be prepared for a long, relaxing meal.

My daughter and I had an early dinner on a Thursday night in August and had a memorable dinner that would probably be difficult to replicate even if we returned every year. The maitre'd was charming, the wait staff efficient and friendly, and the food was wonderful. Lots of extras with the meal and the bill was extremely reasonable for... More

This small Italian restaurant was perfect. Great food at great prices. For about 35 dollars, you will get a fantastic pasta dish and a great salad. Notto mention the complimentary appetizers:brucetta and fried zucchini. Save yourself the time and book a reservation for this wonderfulful romantic dining experience.

While searching for a good authentic italian restaurant , my coworker recommended Antica Venezia. I had never been before so i decided to make a reservation for me and my husband. Since we entered the front door, we knew it would be a great experience. The manager, i believe his name was John, was absolutely friendly and very welcoming. He... More
