Met some friends who are local in NYC and what a recommendation! Located in a quiet street in the West Village, Po served up terrific food, attentive service and a super atmosphere. The ages present ranged from 12 to 60, and there was plenty for all to enjoy. We started out with the white bean bruschetta, which was great although... More

I've reviewed Po before, but after a recent visit I wanted to add another post. In short, this was as good an experience as one could possibly hope for. The service was friendly and helpful (our server suggested a wine pairing we wouldn't have thought of and it hit the spot), and the kitchen is as outstanding as ever. The... More

When meeting some old college friends for dinner, I asked my buddy who has lived in the area for decades for a recommendation. He said, "Go to Po'." I am glad we did, for it was an excellent dining experience. It is a small but pleasant space on Cornelia St. (easy to miss as you walk). The service was quite... More

It is not a place that makes Italian cuisine! For this masquerading! the food has nothing to do with Italian food ... the food is too greasy (as from classic American tradition) and do not define the flavors! Italian cuisine is revisited for the American people. Since our arrival the owners has snubbed us, engaged in their small bar to... More

Our first visit to Po, enjoyed the featured date salad, salmon & gnocchi. The restaurant was full, yet our service was outstanding. Worth the trip to the village.

po is mario batali's first restaurant--it was incredible in it's day--the first of it's kind. Now the food is very good and if you don't mind sitting very close to your neighbors, you will have an enjoyable dinner.

We found this restaurant by wandering the West Village and were pleasantly surprised. This small establishment presented us with very tasty dishes, (porcini encrusted Cod) was excellent as were the salads. Our waiter recommended a wine that was perfect.

Ok, I've ate all over the world and in many of the great spots in NYC but this is a place I have been going to for about 17 years and it never get old…Even though I am a creature of habit and frequently order the same dish, how many places could make perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME. The staff is... More
