Having read the favourable reviews on Trip Advisor, I booked a table for our 25th anniversary by e-mail in advance of us arriving at New York. Although I received an e-mail confirming our booking, when we arrived, there was no record of our booking, although they quickly accommodated us. For a Tuesday evening, the restaurant (in the heart of Greenwich... more

A warm welcome upon arrival followed by great food and attentive service was just what we needed the night we dined at Villa Mosconi. We were late for our reserved time due to an unfortunate taxi incident, but they couldn't have been more gracious to us when we arrived and seated us promptly. We had the Pollo Indorato (chicken) and... more

Decided to eat out since we had no special plans. It was a tossup between the very traditional Villa Mosconi and a much more trendy restaurant that came highly recommended. Luckily I made a reservation. By the time we arrived they were packed. Food was really great. Large selection and everything top quality. Ceasar salad one of the best I've... more

From the moment my family of 7 stepped out of the 25deg cold, Franco made us feel like we were eating at his house. Franco was the most genuine and gracious server, learned our names, pampered everyone and worked to meet our indivual needs. The kitchen certainly backed him up with delicious Mozzerella appetizer, veal, snapper, pasta for entrees, but... more

Old style family run Italian restaurant. The Bolognese sauce is to die for. The service is good and you can even request dishes not on the menu. Most customers are regulars who come back over and over. I have been eating here for over 20 years and have not been disappointed. more

If you expect this restaurant to be a trendy place....don't go there!! This is an old style Italian restaurant where they shine by their incredible food. We had the hot antipasto and each had veal and everything was excellent. I had the pizzaiola and it was incredible. The waiter was so nice and friendly and he offered us tiramisu on... more

We thought we would be returning to Monte's on MacDougal St. but it was closed. A sign directed us to another restaurant...Villa Mosconi (further down MacDougal). What a great experience. The staff was so friendly and sincere. The food was great. Please stop by when you are in the village or make a trip. It will be worth it. Fresh... more
