A sultry steakhouse in New York City’s Greenwich Village where old-world glamour meets modern style and sophistication. Experience the combination of charred cuts perfectly paired with decadent sides, such as Truffle Creamed Spinach and Goose Fat Potatoes. And be sure to save room for the famed 24-Layer Chocolate Cake. Named a top steakhouse by Zagat and awarded four stars by Forbes, the namesake cut of aged beef isn't the only work of art to marvel upon...just take a look at the walls and tell us you don’t agree. Black and white vintage photos of bordello girls from the original 1900’s Studio Manasse collection reference an era of decadence and seduction. Visit our second NYC location, the new Strip House Midtown at 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, or on the Las Vegas Strip at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

With NYC having so many options for great steakhouses, it was tough to choose but I couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. Not only does The Strip house have great steaks but what sets them apart in my opinion is the great sides and appetizers. We got the roasted bacon appetizer for an appetizer, and then the black... If you go to a steakhouse, you want your steak done right.. and this place does it right. I ordered a Filet Mignon and it arrived properly cooked, with a terrific crispy outer shell. The sides were really good too, but must be ordered separately from your main course. Unlike some other steakhouses, you actually had some space to enjoy... More

We came to the strip house on a cold and wet Sunday night and we were pleased to enter their warm and welcoming dining room. The decor is classic NY steakhouse, a little dark with red accents and walls filled with photographs. Our waitress was friendly but professional and guided us through the specials. I thought it was a nice... More

Went there for our one year anniversary had a reservation. It was very crowded and small but the food was amazing. The restaurant is very pricy the type of place you go for a special occasion not just a night out unless you have deep pockets!😀

Gluttonous, but great. I was at a table of six and the restaurant had a nice, appropriately sized table (not 6 jammed onto a 4) for us. We began with excellent garlic bread, shrimp, scallops and a dish of bacon. The bacon was think and juicy and fantastic. The garlic bread, shrimp and scallops all came with some sort of... More

The last time I dined at the Strip House it was The Asti, and my uncle Gil was the maitre d'. That was 40 years ago. The decor and photos adorning the walls are mostly the way I remember them, but the food and service is really good. Waiters sang opera in the old days, but I can say with... More

We love this place and actually had our courthouse wedding dinner here with a few friends. It was the perfect setting: candlelit, romantic and intimate. The sexiest place you will ever eat a steak, for sure. The upstairs gets lots of play, but we prefer the downstairs bar for a cozier meal. The service is just as attentive and the... More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
