Description: A sultry steakhouse in New York City’s Greenwich Village where old-world glamour meets modern style and sophistication. Experience the combination of charred cuts perfectly paired with decadent sides, such as Truffle Creamed Spinach and Goose Fat Potatoes. And be sure to save room for the famed 24-Layer Chocolate Cake. Named a top steakhouse by Zagat and awarded four stars by Forbes, the namesake cut of aged beef isn't the only work of art to marvel upon...just take a look at the walls and tell us you don’t agree. Black and white vintage photos of bordello girls from the original 1900’s Studio Manasse collection reference an era of decadence and seduction. Visit our second NYC location, the new Strip House Midtown at 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, or on the Las Vegas Strip at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

We have visited this steak house that we liked alot (the next door below is actually the best of the 2 restaurants and Stills ok). However, we had a family dinner there 10 days ago and were extremely disappointed as the food ( the méat particularly) was not excellent any more, and service was a disater). We were pushed to... Revisited this place again as we also were here for our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed. The portions are huge and everything is delicious. Beware of ordering too much, you won't finish it!!

Been here for a business dinner. Great atmosphere, great food and a great winelist. The steaks are in the same price range as other NYC steakhouses so no complaints about that but the wine list was very expensive. It would be great if they can add a few hidden gems of -100$ to the menu...

The décor is a little odd, lots of red walls and black and white photos, I went with work a colleague who was amused to see there were ladies in a state of undress in some of them. I was thinking NY Strip when I booked but there was obviously a hidden message! The food was very good, not the... More

We booked to go to Strip House weeks before we came to New York, we had heard a lot about the restaurant and we knew it would be busy and busy it was. We skipped starters as we knew the steaks were big. I had the bone-in Rib Eye and my wife had the 'small' fillet mignon. The rib eye... More

Took my steak-loving teenage son to the Greenwich Village outlet as a splurge on a trip to NYC. Ambiance was fun, food was very good, service was excellent. We each had a New York Strip -- my son's was extremely good, mine was flavourful but unfortunately a titch tough. A little disappointing for a piece of meat that cost nearly... More

We dined in the "speak-easy" section of the restaurant, located just next door and down a few steps. Very nice, Old NY atmosphere and decor. Service was formal, yet relaxed and friendly, which fit in with the whole ambiance of the place. The food was phenomenal. One of the best steaks I've had in New York - perfectly cooked and... More

Friends invited us out for an intimate birthday celebration at their favorite NYC Steak house. I am a big fan of steak houses in general but boy was I surprised! Previously an Italian restaurant named Asti, the new owners kept the original decor with it's old world elegance. Red lightning, the walls covered with old photos, some of famous patrons.... More

This is the best steakhouse in NYC. All the sides are amazing and they have a bone in filet that is to die for. The atmosphere is great too. One of my favorites in the city.
