Went here for a special lunch whilst in NYC - the whole experience was amazing - the setting is beautiful, staff are amazing and the food was so good - the lunch menu is quite a reasonable deal but can end up expensive if you add on wine, cocktails and some of the optional food items like the cheese platter.... Their are so many great French Restaurants everywhere, not just here in NY, but the world. Although I don't eat French much, this place may have just changed my mind. Wow.. Service was as you expect at this price point. Just right! Save up some pennies and splurge at Bouley!

My wife and I enjoyed the prix fix lunch this past weekend. This was our first experience at Bouley and it did not disappoint. My expectation for a place of thus caliber us that everything should be excellent and at least a few things should be revelations. From the canope amuse Bouche to the signature porcini flan, everything was outstanding.... More

We had a shotgun wedding in NYC and our hotel recommended this place for a romantic wedding meal. It did not disappoint! We were seated downstairs, next to one another on a plush sofa. We had the tasting menu which was wonderful accompanied by the wines they recommended. Everything was perfect. What a place! Great service and very knowledgeable staff.

If it's romance or a sense of occasion which you are seeking then this is a superb choice. We've celebrated birthdays, thanksgiving and Christmas here, and found a few made up reasons to justify visiting too! Primarily you come here for perfect food, and exceptional service. It's not cheap, but perfection seldom is, and the cost is not excessive.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
