Visited in mid-August for weekday lunch. The whole experience was outstanding. Every course was excellent and wine pairings perfect. The atmosphere was quiet without being muted. Exactly what you'd want from a place of this size. And the total bill was in the $300 range for 2 after tax and service. That's for 5 courses, wine and coffee, not to... More

After a disappointing dinner in one of my other all-time favorite restaurants last month, we made reservations at Bouley. In honestly, I had not been here for 5 years.....so things change....but Bouley has changed for the better, and 5 years ago it was wonderful! Eclectic and interesting decor, impeccable service and attention to every detail....and the food....I'm still dreaming about... More

The service was flawless from the time we arrived till the moment we left. Everything was fantastic, I went with my wife and some friends and they gave us a very big and comfortable table. I have to say that the food was really beyond my expectations. I had the Porccini Flan as appetizer and the Lamb as entree. My... More

As mentioned in my previous comment after my first visit to Bouley in this stay in NYC, I consider Bouley the best NYC restaurant

We ate in the private dining room with 11 people, and it truly was the most memorable meal of my life. We were served multiple appetizers, and then the incredible courses started. They included wild mushrooms, lobster, Kobe beef, and valrhona chocolate. The chef was very friendly & quite a character. I have never had better service. The wines were... More

My husband and I had our best lunch date ever at this restaurant. When inside, it feels like you are transported to a French chateau. The dining area is very beautiful - paintings, fabric, flowers, lovely decorative arts. Oh, the food. Seriously. Every course was delicious, and I agree with other reviews that the lunch tasting menu is absolutely the... More

Large portions do not make up for sloppy food. A new place may still be going through adjustments; but we think it's more likely that the kitchen is not being run by experts.

I'm not the most adventurous diner so I was apprehensive about the tasting menu. I'm so glad I tried it- best meal ever. The flavours were perfectly combined, Kobe beef was like butter, the cracker and tomato ice were heavenly. Include the wine pairings for an even better experience. Thanks for the tour of the kitchen!
