We went for lunch and had the Winter Menu with Wine Pairing, and a couple of extras. Everything else you'll read with 5-stars is spot on: the food is perfectly executed, the ambiance is nice, quiet and not stuffy, the staff is A++. There is not much to add to a glowing list of superlatives... Simply put: we'll come back!!... More

Our firm had a private room. The decor was warm and inviting. I must comment on the service first. Throughout the night it was superb. Attentive and very competent. What a difference, even compared to other five star restaurants. Of the food, I can say it was the highest quality, professionally prepared, and artfully presented. Each dish was better than... Bouley is one of the best restaurants in New York City. The food is delicate and gentle. The interior is state of the art. They used to have a great bakery, but now they bake the bread just for the restaurant. Go there if you can afford to spend $200 per person for dinner. If you can't, have a lunch... More

My wife and I were in NYC for a wedding and went to Bouley for the 5 course wine lunch. There is not a more perfect place anywhere. You walk in and are greeted with fresh apples on the wall, which creates a nice welcoming smell. The restaurant space is exquisite and prefect. The lunch with the wine pairings could... More

Bouley is a renowned restaurant with superb food. The really best deal is to go at lunch when the tasting menu is a smaller version of the dinner tasting menu is so reasonable. The food and presentation was glorious. Although the portions were a bit smaller, we were quite full at the end of the meal. Do not be shy... More

Perhaps management has to be reminded that one cannot rely upon the lore of old. Every restaurant regardless of pedigree must continuly hone its presence, food preparation and quality, innovation, and service. My first visit to Bouley was underwhelming, unimpressive, and amusing. The physical space is charming and beautiful, akin to eating in a secret garden. Very delightful. The main... More

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
