Laura and I went for dinner during Restaurant Week, on a Tuesday night. Having read about it and a few reviews, I was prepared for a different kind of restaurant, yet was (very pleasantly) surprised by its decor: somehow the palms and lights and black and white floor evoked a different age, and made for a pleasant, relaxing feel. We... More

We had a delightful dinner experience. Service was very attentive and the food was excellent! Fluke carpaccio and spring rolls were our apps. Following that we had Shaking Beef and Sea Bass. All of these choices proved excellent providing a great array of taste experiences. We had an early dinner by NY standards (7 pm) and found the restaurant to... More

The place resembles the misterious countries of Indochine, especially Vietnam, with palm wallpapers and exotic and gentle waiters and waitresses. The food is exquisite, in a French-Vietnamite fusion. Expect tasty cocktails, seafood and spicy meals. Don't forget to make a reservation, because the place is a traditional and trendy spot in NY.

Had always wanted to try this restaurant. The food was good but the attitude of management and the inattentive service ruined the evening. We were seated very closely to a large party who dominated that part of the dining room. They kept getting up to talk to each other, jostling us every time. Then they told us to chill out... More

Because of the food, which is spectacular, because of the staff, that is unbelievably nice and the drinks that a served with perfection I consider it the best! It's tough to find a reservation, but try hard, it's worth it!

Food overall was great. The appetizers was perfect to share and the presentation was great. The Lychee cocktails are very tasty and went well with the meal. A great place!

We had dinner here with friends before theater at the Public. Hadn't been here for many years and was very pleasantly surprised. Service was attentive, though our waitress seemed to be a bit "green". The food will keep us coming back. I had the prix fixe: spring rolls, grilled salmon, and chocolate truffle, all excellent! Also highly recommended by our... More

It was the worst dinning experience I've had in NY in the past year. To cut a long story short: we made a reservation for 6 people. On the day of the reservation the restaurant called us to confirm the reservation and remind us that we could not be late. We arrived 5 mins before the reservation just in case.... More

If you have a gang of friends and want to keep the food and drink flowing, come here. The maitre d' will try to keep the flow of tables and going but if you can, book. And be ready to have a drink at the bar in case you table isn't ready yet. The food is an inevitably great twist... More
