Ask your concierge to book ahead for the Minetta Tavern, before you get to NYC. The queues are long for a very good reason.... its one of the best dinning experiences on offer in the city. Bad weather, packed restaurant, loud and overly crowded…..loved it. The food was excellent. Our server was attentive. Limited brunch menu but everyone fond something that they enjoyed. One of our party was delayed due to the weather, however, our server did not rush us even though we were told that orders would not be taken after 2:45. Nice experience.

While visiting our daughter for a long weekend, we decided to go to a late brunch (2 pm) on Valentine's Day. We arrived about 15 min before our reservation and was seated shortly thereafter. We started with bellinis and mimosas and shared a beat salad. Our daughter had the Avocado and egg on multi grain. She said the poached egg... More

this is a consumate NYC "cool" spot, but it delivers. Cramped, loud with a bit of attitude. But, the food is really very good, the service is tight, the wine list is reasonable with some cool choices, and it has just the right vibe of cool without being a pain inthe a_s.

After several friends and relatives had been to Minetta we finally had our chance to visit. Everything was outstanding including the service. Can't wait to return.

My wife got the veal porterhouse which was pretty divine I went with the burger such was frankly just eh.. Drinks were very good and maybe next time I should get the cote du boeuf for... More

So, this was a destination to try the legendary Minetta Tavern burger and have lunch at this in spot. The place has a great vibe and exudes history and our server was wonderful, great dry sense of humour, a bit sardonic and attentive. I ordered the caesar since this was brunch and it was fantastic, another one was in order.... More

We wanted to go here when we were in town last year but it was closed so this year we made sure we went on a day that it was open. My bf was so excited to try the french dip sandwich after hearing such good things about it. We reserved a table weeks in advance but when we got... More

Had the Burger.... it was pretty good, steak sandwich it was ok. $16.00 bloody mary was very good. its a cool place but spending $126.00 for brunch with pretty good food? This place is way over rated like many in the city. If you have the means, its somewhere to go. If you like really good food you wont go... More
