Like a film scene

This is really a classic. For a Norwegian it was like eating in a film scene. We had the Black Label burger, which was great. But the wine prices - 20 dollars for a glass of white wine - are far beyond normality. Have a beer (or two)..

I ve always wanted to try this place, and it's famous black label burger. I ordered rare and it was grilled to perfection. Will come back again, I wish the bun was more authentic (no-sugar) brick oven bun and fries were hand -cut steak fries. 5 stars to meat and how it is prepared

Visiting the city with family and heard of Minetta for years so we decided to try for lunch. My philosophy in general is to make memories through experiences and I can add Minetta to a memory I will not soon forget. The black label burger is what all four of us ordered despite a scary price for a burger, but... More

Very interesting restaurant with original interior. The dishes look very nice and are very very tasty. Black label burger is very good and the roast beets, veal carpaccio and pasta za za are just perfect!

It's a classic mini-steakhouse with great appetizers. Service is great in spite of a crowded place …pleasant as will. Not a broad menu, but plenty for the average person to choose….the house steak frites is great…would be hard to find a better one. Wines expensive…food about average for NYC.

Great brunch spot. The cocktails are delicious and each entree our group of three had were delicious. Also, do yourself a favor and try the burger. Amazing.

We wanted to try place after reading that it had a great burger. The black label burger was even better than advertised. So was the beef dip. Service was great. Its a really cool deluxe dive bar.

I tried their famous burger, and if you ask me if a burger is worth 30 dollars, my answer is yes - the price can be defended for this gourmet version, accompanied by good service. However, the wines were so ridiculously overpriced that I was tempted to order beer. Quite ordinary wines were priced at 16-20 per glass, and hardly... More

It is not our preferred neighborhood at night, but after reading the reviews of Minetta, I called a month in advance and booked us a table for dinner. It was a beautifully decorated restaurant full of charm, and past glory surrounds you all over. We started with the Special Buckwheat Galette with duck confit, Black trumpet mushrooms and baby spinach.... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
