Good as always

Pepolino has been around for quite some time now and continues to be my favorite Italian restaurant in NY. I'm there about 6 times a year. It is well located near a number of subway lines and is easy to get to from NJ as well as all parts of the city. The service is always spot-on with the team... read more

Perfect location if you are staying at Sheraton Tribeca, just around the corner. Had dinner here two times during our stay in NY, same impression on both occations. First time the place was crowded buth they quickly managed making room for our group of eight. Excellent service, great taste. No problem splitting the bill. Next time it was closing time,... More

Friendly and efficient staff. Pace of service was perfect - neither rushed nor dragged out. Terrific starters and pasta dishes. Atmosphere is really nice too - the room reminded me of a nice country inn. Really set the stage for the fettucine and rabbit, which was just terrific. Make sure to leave room for desert though - especially the ricotta... More

This place is very homey and inviting. From the moment I ate the bread and homemade tomato spread, I knew the food was gonna be good! The warm beef carpaccio was melty and a "pop in your mouth" kind of flavor with olive oil, rosemary, mushrooms, shaved Pecorino Romano and garlic chip. Endive and pear salad is refreshing, a great... on our current trip to New York City I wanted to go to one exceptional restaurant and Pepolino didn't disappoint. The restaurant is small, but not crowded. Service was excellent. The waiter made good suggestions from the wine list. I had a chicken breast with a cheese sauce that came out perfect. Eggplant appetizer was also excellent, but the best... More

Superb meal. A great find. Best Italian meal I have had in years. Service and food were exemplary. Such a pleasant surprise. Had a pasta dish with rabbit and it was a perfect rustic ragu, full of flavour. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed dinner here at in the outdoor, tented (and heated) dining area - enjoyed good, attentive service with all around food -- had Cacio e pepe along with their very smooth and creamy ricotta cheese cake - a great find in a quieter part of the city

I did not have to research this one, because many people who stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street have raved on this place. That is where my wife and I and our two boys who are in college stayed Dec. 17-22. One night we decided to give it a try without knowing the level of restaurant we... More

We were fortunate enough to have this restaurant very close to our hotel (Sheraton Tribeca). What they have here is an absolute gem. We didn't have reservations but they were very obliging and fit us in. The food was delicious and the staff were outstanding. This was our first restaurant of what was a long weekend in NY with my...
