We went to Pepolino Restaurant after a tour of the 9-11 Museum which was amazing by the way, Pepolino was by far the the best restaurant we visited in our entire five day trip to NY. The pastas were absolutely perfect, al dente as we like, and all home made. The sauces were out of this world. Even the salad,... More

This restaurant is small classy and very much excellent Tuscan cuisine. Last nite our family dined at this very friendly establishment. To start we ordered the baby octopus . Grilled to perfection , just a slight char .the very tasty black linguine seafood nere was off the charts. So much so we ordered a second ( small portion) the forentina(... More

This was our first visit to Pepolino with friends who had been there a few times in the past. We were greeted like members of the family to a warm and inviting atmosphere; not overly opulent or fancy, but more of a first class Italian neighborhood motif. There is outdoor dining but we were seated on the 2nd level at... More

Pepolino is a Tribeca staple, been here for years, and a solid place to go for authentic Italian food. I have been here lots of times with my husband and friends over the past 10 years and love it. However, I recently went here with my father and children, and asked in advance about menu items for my kids. They... More

I live in Manhattan and we have always liked Pepolinos and have dined there many times over the years. The food is solid and well prepared. However, prices are just a bit too high given that this is a neighborhood Italian joint - its good, but not quite that good. There are too many options in the City that offer... More

Authentic and made to order, the food at Pepolino's is second to none. The Adams Salad and the risotto are out of this world. Be prepared for a carbohydrate intake like never before. Their food is fantastic. Prices are moderate.

Clearly a neighborhood favorite. The octopus was the most tender I ever had and I order it whenever I see it, so nicely charred too. The foie gras while expensive was melt in your mouth. My Branzino was perfectly cooked which for me is just barely, so moist, obviously very fresh. Divine. Desserts were very nice. Chocolate flan with a... More

Went to Pepolino to have dinner with my wife. We had a bottle of wine, fried calamari and a crêpe as starters. Both plates felt light and well prepared. The service was attentive, and fast. The decoration of the place was very romantic. Would definitely come back con next trip to NY.

Dining at Pepollino Tribeca was an unexpected treat! I couldn't believe that I'd never heard of this fine NYC restaurant before. We were greeted with a lovely setting on a quiet corner, one step off of Canal Street/Chinatown with a very European outdoor cafe. The interior transplanted me to Tuscany. We loved the atmosphere! The food and service were excellent. I... More
