Fantastic appetizers

The appetizers were delicious! I could make a meal of just them and a salad. I especially loved the mussels in sauce. Their bread was fantastic - especially dipped into the mussel sauce. Everyone else was lucky they got any. I was ready to hog it all. Meal was good but not up the appetizer... read more

We stumbled upon this little hidden gem after perusing the area. We were promptly greeted for dinner and had the door opened for us as we climbed the stairs. It helped that this establishment has Italian speaking staff, as I too am Italian; made me feel like I was back in Rome having dinner. The first floor dining area is... More

Stumbled onto this place while walking in Soho after an afternoon touring the 9/11 memorial. Small dining area with great service and homemade pasta.

You can easily find as good or better cuisine in the area than this, so why go when seating and restaurant patron is awful? In short, don't go.

We found this little spot on a recent trip to NYC. It was within walking distance to our hotel and it was charming. The staff was very friendly and very attentive, the host was wonderful! He may have been one of the owners, and we loved him. Great specials, great service and the food was fantastic! I would love to... More

Not only was the food great, but the service wa nothing but top class. The atmosphere was that of a quaint Italian restaurant that I picture Italy. Every dish, including there appetizers were fantastic. Well worth the trip if you are anywhere near.

We had found out about Pepolino's prior to our trip to NYC and visited for an early supper after a long day sightseeing. The ambience struck us immediately; cosy & relaxed. We were really welcomed by charming staff who couldn't do enough to make our time there as good as possible. The menu is made up of authentic Tuscan dishes... More

My husband and I celebrated my birthday with a late lunch at Pepolino. We ordered salads for appetizers. I had the roasted beets with mixed greens. It was a very tasty salad. It's a dish I would add to my recipes and serve the next time I host a dinner party. My main course was the farotto of the day... More

I recently took a client to Pepolino (my first visit). It was some of the best Italian food I've had since last summer when I was in Rome. The cacio e pepe was perfect and I highly recommend it as a first course (half order or split it). My client at the large steak which he said was perfect. Nice... More

Wandered in for lunch and had the best meal we had on our trip to New York City. I had an amazing fish special and everyone else loved their meal. Just a great place.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
