Best NYC dining experience I've had in years. I took a special friend to thank him for standing by me. We enjoyed the six course tasting menu. All courses were unique, elegant and tasty. My favorite moment was watching my friend close his eyes and let a bite of one of the fish dishes melt in his mouth. Pick someone... More

We were in NYC for a weeding in August. We ate several "top rated" restaurant in Manhattan, but we had our best meal at MAS (Farmhouse) in Greenwich Village. Farm to table quality food was the highlight, as well the excellent service. Based on some reviews we were a bit concerned we would be sitting on top of the table... More

This was our first visit to Mas, the farm to table French Restaurant in SoHo. The setting is lovely, and the décor is N.Y chic. The service could not have been better. From discussing any food allergies, to tailoring the dishes to each individuals taste, great care was invested to ensure that the entire experience was first class. We had... More

Located in a really tiny and very private street it's easy to miss MAS. My friend suggested it and it was another "trouvaille" (find). The restaurant is rather small so reservations are mandatory if you want to be sure to eat there. The concept is farm-to table and it has an à la carte and a set menu (4 or... More

Remember when you could find a restaurant in NYC that had creative great food, intimate dining atmosphere, and an experienced staff that was knowledgable but not stuffy? That place still exists - it is called Mas. If you try to avoid the national expense account chain restaurants like I do, and super chefs who care more about their ego and... More

I've been here three or four times over the course of several years, with large groups and at dinner for 2, and I've always had a great meal and really superior service. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed, and not LOUD (which is a blessing in the city). People are not piled on top of each other like they... More

Our server was great, kind of looked like Zach Galifianakis, he let us know we could have the tasting menu any way we like. I enjoy tasting menus but I hate the rules that come with it. This was great. All of our food was wonderful. Came here for my birthday. Very impressed. Would return again.

My new bride and I along with our two good friends who joined us in New York for our wedding were treated to an amazing meal at Mas Farmhouse. Both the meal and the service were outstanding!

We had a table for seven at 6.30pm at Mas (farmhouse). It is a small and intimate restaurant in a quiet Greenwich Village street and we were seated at a large, fixed timber table in the middle of the restaurant. The decor is timber and stone to provide accents of the French mas (stone farm-house) after which the restaurant is... More
