Good food, rushed service

We went to Babbo to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant was nicely decorated, and we enjoyed sitting side by side at our table. There music was a little loud at times and a somewhat odd selection, more for a bar scene than a nice restaurant . Our major complaint was that we felt very rushed... read more

This restaurant is usually booked solid for dinner, so try to get in for lunch. You get the same excellent food, wine and service. A Must stop for any modern Italian cuisine fan.

We adore Mario! We've dined at several of his restaurants in Las Vegas and love one particular Octopus appetizer from B&B Ristorante at the Venetian. We were in NYC to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday with our family. For our last night we ate at Babbo. It was a fine meal. My niece ordered for the table and we shared... More

The food was all amazing and for what we had, reasonably priced. The restaurant is extremely crowded. We arrived a little early on a bitter cold evening and thought we might have drinks at the bar while we waited for our reservation time, but were told that the bar was for eating and we had to wait in front of... We went to Babbo on Saturday of the long weekend, 4 people. Had appetizers and they were ok the arugula salad was very good. The gnocchi dish was ok so was the orecchiette. I was expecting a much higher degree of flavors and taste it was pasta. We have had much better italian dishes this was just ok. I agree... More

Atmosphere is nice. Disappointing dining experience. Staff is haughty from front to back, wine steward even rolled his eyes when we said we wanted to choose our wine. Menu was lackluster. The entire wait staff scurried around so that you felt the whirlwind activity. "House " wine normally is considered to be a value priced wine everywhere in the world,... More

The food is always spot on, excellent service and the decor comfortable and relaxed. I had my engagement dinner there and it went really well. The Maitre-D held the ring and brought it up himself and delivered on a dish with a cover. It was a nice surprise that went very well. They also wrote congratulations on the desert dish.

We really enjoyed our dinner. I tasted bread stick in the bar which was the best I ever tried. I enjoyed Spagetti with lobster .Their wine menu was very rich. Music in the entrance was good .
