Lettuce cups and more lettuce cups, this is the best dish at Gobo. The filling is so good we don't even bother putting it into the lettuce cups. The noodle dishes are good too but a bit on the heavy side. Overall one of our favorite vegetarian experiences.

In New York for an extended weekend and had been trying to book a table - found out the Upper East side one was closed when I went to go there for lunch and then tried here for dinner and it's closed down - massively disappointed was one of the best vegetarian restaurants I've ever been to anywhere.

My family went to Gobo when we had vegetarian guest. The main courses were all surprisingly delicious. The New England Rolls were flat out amazing; perfect texture, taste. Wow. Also happy with side dish of coconut whole grain rice with raising. On the drinks side, the sake-jito (a mojito made with sake!) was fun. I'd definitely go again, even if... More

A chance discovery, while walking to the PATH station, this was a gift to 2 hungry vegetarian souls in NY. The food menu was elaborate and tempting. The lentil soup was a stand out item from the menu both in taste and quality. A "must visit" everytime I plan to be in NY. Would recommend even hard core non-vegetarians to... More

A surprisingly good Asian fusion vegan restaurant, as they called it themselves 'Food for the five senses'. We have been here many times and we are still amazed! One minus point: too much delicious food. Try the smoothies!

We went with a party of six. The party had small plates, salads, drinks, and large plate. Everyone raved. Especially enjoyable were the scallion pancakes with homemade mango salsa, crispy spinach & soy cheese wontons ,pine nut vegetable medley with lettuce wraps, and the organic king oyster mushrooms in sizzling basil black bean sauce . I have a feeling this... More

A delicious Asian fusion vegetarian restaurant. There were so many great choices on the menu that is was hard to chose. I had a wonderful eggplant and string bean dish with brown rice. I am craving the dish and wish I could go back but we don't live in NYC. I will keep this on my list of places to... More

I have been here over a dozen times and I have never been disappointed. I had the soy protein and cashew spinach rolls with jade mushrooms...delish! My friend has the sizzling soy cutlet platter with black pepper sauce...so good! For dessert we shared the vegan key lime pie. I am not fond of overly sweet desserts and this had just... More

I don't get excited about food in general but GoBo is the BEST!! We don't travel to NYC very often but when we do, we try to make it to GoBo at least once. Last time our waiter Mendi recognized us. Good food and a welcome from the staff. It is our go to place for sure.
