Wonderful Fresh Seafood and 30+ kinds of Oysters to choose from

My wife and I had our first meal in NYC at Aquagrille tonight. We did our research and it did not disappoint. We made a reservation and it was a good thing we did. There were people standing out in the cold waiting to get in. The service was good and the waitress was knowledgeable about the... read more

Second trip to Aquagrill. Just a great, fun seafood spot in Lower Manhattan. Amazing oyster & wine selection, wonderful fish preparations and super service.

We will return to AquaGrill on our next trip to NY. Very cozy atmosphere, crowded and a bit loud but we could still talk to one another across the table. I don't remember much about the complimentary Amuse Bouche, but I think it was salmon on a potato chip?? We shared the Mesclun salad...nothing extraordinary there but good. I had... More

We come here a couple of times a year and always just end up eating a lot of oysters and drinking a lot of white wine. I'm sure everything else is quite delicious but let's face it...I'm in it for the oysters (and all other raw bar goodies). And I'm never disappointed. It's cramped and small, and a reservation is... I really liked the variety of more than 30 raw oysters to choose from. So we tried 3 different oysters as an appetizer. We had the daily fish special as an entree, which was excellent.

We stopped here for lunch and were thoroughly impressed with the food. My wife had a plate of oysters with a small salad and I had a fish sandwich, again with a small salad. Both meals were excellent. The only thing that keeps me from rating this at 5 stars was the toilet facilities located on the basement level. We're... More

Used to live in NYC near by this restaurant, I love the neighbourhood very traditional to say about NYC! Aqua however is another of the 1.000.000.000 italian restaurants in this city, this one has something special. Nice sunday brunch and and good steaks, portions are a human size, not American standard, that is a bliss, still we usually order two... More

We had lunch this past Saturday and we had to wait 10 minutes on a windy day. The waiting area was comfortable we were served drinks there. I had a great capuccino, while sister in law and brother enjoyed vodka drinks. We had two crab claw appetizers and they were served chilled with butter and lemon. One was from Florida... More
