Early doors supper

Second trip here & equally good. We booked ahead as it is always v busy. Staff friendly & attentive. Free flowing iced water. Amuse bouche also. The special corn & shrimp chowder was super. The tuna was similarly good. I have not given 5/5 as we were sat at the back near to the kitchen. A bit dark... read more

Fine meal. Yes, we started with the oysters! Clearly a must., But the mains worked very well, including the Bouillabaisse and the Chilean SeaBass. A great pre theater meal.

We had amazing food, the fish was so fresh and perfectly made, just done, not overcooked. Everyone had wonderful meals.. There were 5 of us. The waiters gave great advice, paired an excellent wine, and a nice dessert menu. I look forward to returning for another meal. Thank you Aquagrill

...and more oysters. Always a great selection. Except for the oysters, I wouldn't call it a seafood restaurant. Fish, yes, and superbly prepared (they do have lobster). Pretty much one of our NYC faves. Service is attentive and unobtrusive. Nice, short wine list. We just had a deliciously smooth Sancerre ($60). 12 varied oysters, two mains, 1 shared dessert, coffee, and... More

It has been awhile since I last visited NYC and Aquagrill had been a favourite when I lived there so naturally I wanted to visit again. I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed this time around. While the appetisers (oysters) were excellent and fresh (as usual), the main courses my girlfriend and I ordered were not particularly good.... More

I am not so picky that one oops during a dinner would cause a bad review. But really - the service here for us one night was pitiful. Our main server never smiled. He was unenthusiastic about specials. I ordered a beer that almost didn't come. When it did, someone sat it on table next to us. That person said... More

A friend and I were both impressed both with the service and the food here. We had mistaken the time of our reservation, and arrived an hour late. The hostess found us a table, despite it being a busy Friday evening in trendy Soho! Even with a crowded room, we were able to carry on a conversation without straining ourselves.

If you love your oysters then this is your heaven. The range is sublime and the waiters will walk you through all of the options and make recommendations. For mains they have an Italian bent that is superb. Make sure you book

We went there on a Sunday for lunch and martinis. They offered delicious scones and muffins with butter and strawberry jam as it was brunch time. We started with Aqua bite martinis. Ketel one vodka with grapefruit and lime I believe. So cold and delicious. My husband ordered Billy Bi (mussel soup) which we split. They were kind enough to... More

Great bustling place to eat - beautifully cooked fish and creative menu. not your usual surf and turf - much more gourmet which is fantastic.
