We just walked it without any knowledge of this place. Wow! Nice place, excellent service. Music was good, nice ambiance. Really liked this place. Would definitely recommend. The braised pork ragu was so good, best dish we've had in a long time. We also had the chef's special which was this roast beef, topped on potatoes with an egg on... More

We had been wanting to eat here for some time as our neighbors raved about the place. To begin with Spasso gets the award for most unique use of branches and lights to decorate scaffolding. We were seated inside in cool air-conditioning at a window table for 4 (we were only a party of 3). Luckily the table for 2... More

This is a really nice little place for lunch or dinner. Only found this by accident during a walk around Greenwich Village. It is on a corner and the outside of this old building was very appealing to us. We did not have a booking but were advised that a table would be available in 15 to 20 minutes. So... More

We found this after finding a 2 hour waiting line in the spotted pig round the corner so had no expectations or prior knowledge at all. Turned out to be the best food I had throughout a 2 week St Barths and NYC trip (which set a high standard and precedent). Highly recommended...attentive service and truly delicious perfectly cooked steak.... More

Very expensive and tiny portions! So disappointing and with little respect for diners. $ 23 for a tiny tiny portion of spaghetti and about 5 clams. Must have cost them about $ 2 to make with huge margin. No excuse for this !!

I been here three times. Twice for a date and once for cocktails at the bar with a friend. The seasonal cocktails are wonderful here and the food is very good. The west village is NY fave neighborhood in all of NYC and this location is close to all the village has to offer.

The restaurant was cozy and had a nice crowd. The bar was empty, so some friends and I were able to sit down and have a glass of wine. The bartenders were very friendly.

Ate at Spasso on a busy Saturday lunchtime in a party of seven. Restaurant was crowded with a great atmosphere. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive. Good choice on the menu, food tasty and well prepared. Variety of pasta, fish and burgers and everyone happy

We had our rehearsal dinner here. Perfectly prepared, and extraordinarily good food. Don't miss the fresh pasta. Great service. They clearly care about the food here, and the chef has a very deft and nuanced sensibility. You won't be sorry, trust me. We've been here on several occasions and it's been great every time.

There's nothing I love more than food where you can actually taste the natural flavors of the ingredients - and that's where I think Spasso really shines. The fish here tastes like fish, not just another chunk of white meat doused in sauce. The chef really knows how to put the spotlight on the natural flavors of the ingredients, and... More
