A gem of a place with Austrian roots, terrific staff and solid food. Worth revisiting to try more offerings.

The drinks were excellent, the food spot on and the atmosphere great. A recommended place to go with friends (whilst probably too loud for that romantic first date!). Great service too.

This was my second visit at Edi and the Wolf. The restaurant has maintained a quality standard of cooking. Every dish we tried -- and there were many -- was well executed. My only complaint was within a short period of time, my credit card number from a card that was used only once this year was stolen. Beware.

What a great restaurant with awesome service! You'll probably walk right past this a few times before you find the hidden entrance, but once you enter you'll be pleasantly surprised with the quaint and charming atmosphere. The food was fantastic. I had the Spatzle and brussel sprouts - delicious! Located on Avenue C - it is a bit of a... More

We had a truly amazing dinner at this very special, charming lower East side GEM. Worth a cab ride from anywhere in Manhattan and further aloft. I can't wait to come back again. You walk into a wild garden, through an old screen door into a charming wonderland. Designed with such flair and good taste. The ambiance and lighting are... More

My friends and I had dinner here this past week. The decor was charming but also a bit rustic. The servers were all friendly. The food was good, we started with the flat bread and pickles. The pickles were crisp, sour and salty and perfectly balanced. My friend had the trout, although good, was disappointed with the portion size, it's... More

This place is just beautiful. Is a bit hidden and far but is worth the trip. The food is a bit pricey but then again you pay for good, scrumptious food. The dessert is just amazing!!! And by amazing I mean my mouth is watering just to think about it!! Yummm. The garden is beautiful, and the decour is so... More

Had the most amazing dinner at Edi and the wolf in nyc a few days ago. Really rustic feel, cool staff and amazing food. The chef was on iron chef and chopped which is probably why the menu is so well executed. Will definately go back again! Also cute bars in the neighborhood to grab drinks afterward...I think they are... More
