We were staying in the Pierre Hotel so this was incredibly convenient. We had a dinner and lunch here over the weekend. Each aspect of the dinner (for my wife's birthday) was fabulous. The service was excellent, the ingredients were fresh and tasty, and the composition of each dish was perfect. They prepared a fabulous birthday cake and accompanied it... More

My dad loves this place. The staff are mostly Italian, so he was finally able to talk to someone without using me as interpreter. Not only that, the staff are attentive, knowledgeable and the food is very good. A modern approach to Italian cuisine paired with a great bottle of wine. What else could you ask for?

Excellent service and memorable food. I was skeptical about a restaurant recommended by the Pierrre concierge and located within the hotel, but this exceeded my expectations. Every dish was spot on.

We had lunch in the resturant on Christmas day!! I was a little worried as it was a "set menu" with several choices for each course. Oh my goodness what wonderful food!!! I had lobster bisque followed by crab pasta then monkfish and dessert!! All courses were stunning!! Great relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very very good. As we... More

We enjoyed the $26.00 prix fixed luncheon, two courses and coffee. Pasta and meat choices. Sufficient size portions, really good taste and less uptight waiters than other choices. Location is great for shoppers and one of the big department store restaurants will cost a lot more. It was not crowded as they apparently don't post the luncheon special outside. We... More

Waiters were so gracious about special requests - food quality excellent - totally lovely. atmosphere. My friend and I had both a grand dinner and a quick bite before a show - the waiters accommodated our requests and were respectful of our time concerns in a welcome and gracious manner.

My partner and I went to dinner at Sirio's on Sunday night of Thanksgiving weekend because we were staying nearby and wanted to walk to dinner. Based on reviews we thought it would be an interesting doing experience. We were hugely disappointed as the food was quite undistinguished in every way. We chose the spinach pasta dish with lamb as... More

Based on Visit to Sirio Nov. 4, 6:30 pm. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST. We visited Sirio for their "Grand Tasting Menu". It was a $125 dinner and with Groupon became $85. A pricey dinner but we were excited for a culinarily feast. There were five of us. Three were fish eaters, two meat and seafood eaters. I spoke... More

My boyfriend and I ate here one night during our one week stay in New York City. I have to say it was our least favorite meal of the week by a mile. We went to Sirio as it was close to our hotel and had great reviews on Tripadvisor, but we were very disappointed. The menu had a very... More

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
