We had 9 people with us and we all got something different.... Then passed it around to try it all. I got the lamb gyro which was out of this world! I didn't have a single bite that wasn't excellent. A MUST EAT when in NYC! I ended going back the next day it was so good!

We had this 2 nights in a row! Even in the cold windy weather it's well worth the walk! It's the only street food cart I trust in NYC to date! Very tasty! But even for all the spice lovers...go easy on the red sauce! Even a very tiny extra little can be enough to have u sweating! 😋

We chose to eat here at our first day in NYC! I am glad we did so. First of all, there are lots of trucks with name "Halal guys". Depending on the previous reviews on TA, we searched for the one in front of Sheraton. It was obvious that we found the right one by the the looong queue. Although... More

If you come to NYC and read Tripadvisor, you know you're supposed to stop at the Halal Guys. After many trips and walking right by I finally took the plunge. My husband flatly refuses to eat street food. I love it. My daughter and I planned the stop after theater. It was a rainy night so the line wasn't too... More

...and even though we had to wait in a line of people in the rain and cold, it was worth the stop. Good food. Great value. If it was only better weather we could have enjoyed our hot dinner outside, but since it was raining and cold, we hustled over to the Plaza Food Mall so that we could have... More

After reading the other reviews, we had to try this halal cart instead of all the others. Don't let the long line fool you, these guys are super efficient and your wait won't be too long. It is totally worth it! The combination chicken and gyro with rice is a meal and a half, or two meals for a smaller... More

We were on our way to MOMA when we saw the line for these guys and decided to give them a try. The are fast, fun, efficient, friendly and very, very delicious. Because this was our 5th food stop for the morning, we decided to share one combo plate. The guys noticed and made sure to throw in 5 forks... More

I hate queuing up for food but The Halal Guys are the exception. So good that I had it twice in the week I was in NYC. Absolutely worth my time. Loved the taste of the food and the fact that the chaps were so friendly made the food taste even better. The serving was so generous and in as... More

Couldn't quite work out the hype or queue until we tasted it. Seriously good falafels. Others in our group had the chicken and meat and happy people all round. For $6 give it a go. Share if you only need a snack as the servings are very generous but...BEWARE THE RED SAUCE.

We bought expensive tickets to a broadway show so had our dinner on a street corner at The Halal Guys for $6/plate. Wonderful meal, lots of food (and I do mean lots), and very nice guys. We went because of the price and the good reviews we had read and all were true. One final note, the white sauce is... More
