We were directed here from the owner of The Chelsea Pines Inn and it was outstanding! My husband and I wanted an early dinner before Wicked and they got us right in. The food is divine and all homemade. I can still taste our delicious dishes. My only wish was that we saved more room to try more things! The... More

I have been frequenting Rafele for the last year and a half, stopping in for a meal at least once a month, either by myself or with friends. Everyone I have turned onto this restaurant has remarked how great the experience has been. The food is delicious and authentic, the service is warm and friendly. Very homey and cozy. Honestly,... We enjoyed a beautiful meal at Rafele as a group of 5. We ate early so the restaurant wasn't busy. It has a lovely atmosphere and the service was friendly and courteous. Meals were delicious!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Based on reviews, I made a reservation at Rafele and was not disappointed. This is a very inviting, warm space with excellent and knowledgable service. The restaurant was very busy but we did not feel rushed and really enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent, from the very flavorful cauliflower starter to the seafood soup and pasta mains. Also, always... More

One of the restaurants recommended by our hotel, in the nice Greenwich Village part. Very good food and very friendly service. My hotel had reserved it for me and told them it was my birthday (well it was two days prior) and we got offered a variety of desserts, that was very sweet of them, one even came with a... More

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, 5 of us tried Rafele on a Friday evening. The upstairs seemed cost, but we were seated in the basement where there are larger tables. Everything was well prepared and tasty, but the food just doesn't have the zing or authenticity of other Italian restaurants in Manhattan. You won't go wrong, but there are better choices.
