Popped into this little café and ordered a fresh sandwich (the customer requests every bit of preparation) so you know indeed its fresh. Not a fancy place if your looking for swank. Just a mere, friendly place to grab a sandwich or coffee to stay or go!

OK for lunch, usual assortment of sandwiches with slightly different ingredients to make them seem gourmet. Good selection of soups to meet most tastes. If there is an event going on at City Center, be prepared to fight for the limited seating indoors. In warmer months, outdoor seating gives you more opportunity to find s table.

Good sandwiches well priced and cheap for NY. Soups are good we had a macaroni and cheese ( i did not try it but friend said it was good). Lobster bisque was hot and hit the cold January day spot. New York with its Arctic air has not heard of Global Warming, as evidenced by the reality of this cold.... More

Au Bon Pain is a cross between a sandwich shop and a pastry shop. I stopped in for a take out dinner while in NY and found my meal: salad, sandwich, drink and chocolate pastry - all very good. Service was a little slow but I came toward the end of dinner shift and the staff was prepping to close.... More

I visited an Au Bon Pain for the first time in Paris and had a really good experience, so I had high expectations for them again. unfortunately...it was just average this time. The food they serve is actually quite good...but the service needs improvement. Seems as if associates are either confused or unable to communicate effectively with the general public.... More

We were in Manhattan for the afternoon & early evening and decided to have a quick lunch before leaving the bus terminal. After looking at the quick stop restaurants in the terminal we decided to have a sandwich at Au Bon Pain which is situated on the first floor of the south terminal under the main escalator. If you’re looking... More

Great value for breakfast, about 30% cheaper than Pax where we had gone the previous two mornings.. Bagels decent, especially the cinnamon crisp (yum, yum), the pecan swirl was to die for but I nearly had a heart attack figuratively as well as literally when I saw the calorie content. It just looked too good to save behind though so... More
