Surprisingly not crowded so close to statue tourism. Great variety of food, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating, takes CC, store also.

Shared impromptu day with hubby on Roosevelt Island and passed by this lovely little place. The window display invited us in and what a great variety of fresh home made food we encountered. Brick oven pizza, panninis (that were fav!), fresh salad we added terrific ingredients to (IE-3 stuffed grape leaves) and huge variety of gourmet teas! It's a mini... More

a great "find" ln lower Manhattan (at the edge of Battery Park) - up a few stairs and into the grocery/deli/market with a super salad bar (quite like many corner Bodegas) elsewhere in the city; it is crowded but it flows well; the selection is very good and if you want to "eat in" .. seating is available on a... We ate breakfast here-really good food, cooked to order. The workers here are very polite and helpful. We came back the next day for breakfast again since we stayed very close-2minute walk from the Ritz @ Battery Park. This is our new "go to" place for any meal we need while in NYC.

For a very decent price, the deli offers quality food for a short wait. There isn't just a huge selection of sandwiches but a range of dishes. I visited off peak times so the seating area was quiet, also in winter so sat inside. The shop is decorated beautifully and is in an ideal location near battery park and the... More

Literally 100s of options of fresh hot and cold food to choose from. If you can't find something you like here, you won't eat!

We stopped in for a late lunch. The salad bar was simply amazing. My daughter ordered a deli sandwich that was piled high. The prices are decent for NYC and there is ample seating upstairs or outside. Right near the Staten Island Ferry pier, you could take a picnic lunch for the boat ride.

If you're not from NYC, you won't understand this place: part deli, part market, salad bar, sushi and fancy cakes. Now the food here is pretty good, but at lunchtime, "fahgetaboutit". It's nuts, with a combination of bewildered foreigners, film students and a few brave office workers. There is limited seating upstairs (ie where it is hottest) and in an... More

Visited NYC with hubby and 2 kids and stayed at the Ritz Carlton Battery Park. The concierge recommended this place for breakfast. Outstanding! I had a veggie egg white wrap that I couldn't finish. Plus they have a little grocery store too, and all kinds of food- deli, bagels, coffee, salads, you name it. The four of us ate breakfast... More
