We believe in enjoying wine and talking about wine in a way that makes everyone feel welcome and never intimidated. Don't let the name fool you. Although the setting is relaxed and casual, Corkbuzz Wine Studios is serious about food and wine. Tucked away on 13th St. in Chelsea, it offers up a rare combination of delicious food, excellent wines at decent prices (by glass and bottle), and servers who really know their vino. It's a bit crowded for space,... More

The wine and food were very good here but the space was a bit loud and the seating is truly communal, but it was strange. I could talk well to the person next to me, but the person across the table might as well have been in another state. I could get into the conversation of the diner sitting next... More

My wife an I went to Corkbuzz last week while visiting friends in the Big Apple. The 4 of us were seated promptly. The decor in this place is really cool with a large bar and both private and communal tables. We started with some appetizers, the chicken fried rabbit, octopus and pork belly were our favorites. We then sampled... More

We had a lovely quick pre- show dinner! Try the Bacon Caramel Corn! Perfect with a glass of cava. The service was quick but not pushy at all. The fact that you pre-taste wines by the glass-- fantastic! I only wish I could go back for the late night 1/2 price bottles of bubbly!

Came here for a sunday brunch and was very happy about the great food! They have a lovely brunch selection and you should make reservations as it gets full really quick! Worth coming by for a glass of wine as well!

We went here for drinks after dinner and had a wonderful time. Great ambience and very good wine selection. Their homemade ricotta was also amazing!

We had a few nice bottles of wine at reasonable prices. The food was eclectic. We skipped entrees and did lots of small plates and cheese and charcuterie. Wine classes are held here frequently and you can visit the Chelsea Market location for flights.

We live in the neighborhood of Corkbuzz, but never got around to trying it before this week. A very pretty wine focused restaurant. Long beautiful bar with a broad selection of wines by the glass and bottle. The food menu gave a wide variety of dishes, small to large, light appetizer to full entree. Very well prepared. We had roasted... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
