Best breakfast sandwich in NYC (so far!)

The best breakfast sandwich I've had... (and I've had many of them!). Two eggs, sausage and cheese in a roll... heavenly!!!!!

Where else in New York can you sit at the counter, have a delicious egg white omelet, not feel rushed, and get out for under $8.00? Johny's is the real deal, serving the neighborhood and not trying to be something it's not. Service is prompt and friendly even if you aren't a regular. But I plan to become one.

Great place for breakfast. Just grab a stool at the bar and enjoy. The service is great and the price is fantastic.

A really great old style diner - breakfast all day, and a fabulous deal it is too. My wife and I had breakfast yesterday and were very impressed - nothing like this down under in Australia. The reviews of this place are spot on. It is very cosy - only seats about 12 at the counter and 2 tables, and... More

Fast, good and charming. This would be an excellent place to grab breakfast during a snowstorm in NYC. Stay warm, drink coffee, and watch the cold, white world go by.

VERY disappointing breakfast.. I ordered 3 Scrambled Eggs and well done ham. Expecting nice yellow fluffy eggs I received eggs that were browned (left on the grill to be scorched) and the ham just fried regular, not well done at all. So I guess there are different cooking standards for ham then there is eggs... When I questioned him that... More

This place was a delight, and entertaining. Counter seating mainly (10 seats), two tables near the back. Felt like I had stepped back in time into an old movie. The diner was clean and very busy. The coffee was very good. There were three staff there doing it all in full view of everyone. The food was well prepared and... More

Ate here several times with my family and as always it was great. Four lumberjack breakfasts (stack of pancakes, two eggs and some bacon) and four drinks wasn't even $48 and the pancakes are huge, cooked right on the griddle in front of you and they taste amazing. Proper little New York diner with big portions and a friendly atmosphere. Would... More

Very tasteful pancakes, good coffee in a very accessible location. Definitely one of the best-value for money breakfast in New York. Staff is polite and attentive to the customers (much more polite than many fancy places around NYC). Fully recommended
