This is a really cool joint, with great and very afordable food! This is a true diner experience! The place is tiny and there often is a wait, but the food is great. I went for breakfast two times and they will make anything you want! Check it out, great for when you are on the run and want fast... More

Visited in July, after looking for a typical diner. This place hit the spot, small restaurant, but excellent and cheap. Friendly staff. Had the Curious George, eggs, ham, bacon, cheese and fries on a roll. It was excellent, cheap and filling. Definitely recommend if you are in this part of Manhattan.

I got there about 8:00 on a Tuesday , and half the seats were available. Had a great bacon and eggs with potatoes, toast and coffee for $7.50 with tax and tip. Prepared right in front of me and served up hot - no heat lamp here! An extensive menu, unbelievable food and prices. I loved it!

We were keen to experience a real,NYC breakfast and surprise , we found it 150 meters from our hotel on W25th street in Chelsea . Thus is real mom and pop operation with some of the slickest yet meticulous food prep happening right before your eyes whilst you sit up in this small twelve seater traditional bar diner. The staff... More

The menu here is big, but the food is conventional and vey good. Quarters are TIGHT! We probably sat 10 feet from the grille, but the AC unit is also closest to those seats. The two guys in there worked their butts off in that place! Kudos to them for their hard work. We enjoyed our visit. We'd probably order... More

As a couple from London, we simply Googled 'breakfast' and went to the nearest place. It was great! Small cafe, does take away. The guy cooking could only have been described as superman as he cooked faster than the speed of sound to keep up with the orders. Was full the whole time we were there, with a take away... More

On our visits to NYC, we make sure we visit Johny's. Place is very small, but worth waiting for if seats aren't available. In a city of overpriced breakfasts, this place turns out good food for a reasonable cost. Very friendly people also.

This place is tiny....very tiny. They serve a delicious breakfast and very affordable too! Fast service and friendly too. Plus if you order online you get an additional 10% off, to go orders. We dined in to take in the entire experience, well worth it!

I went here after reading the reviews, and didn't get what the fuss was about, even though it didn't look clean I sat there against my better judgement. The kitchen looks like it needs a good scrub, the cook was cooking meal after meal without so much as cleaning anything, he was using the same towel to wipe the counter... More

So glad we stumbled into this place last year. Paid a return visit last week, and wasn't disappointed. Seats about 20 lucky people. This place has it all -- good, basic food (we were there for breakfast both times), terrific prices, attentive staff, and watching the cook get those orders out in breakneck speed was something to see. When visiting... More
