I thought it was an interesting idea to make froyo with goat milk, but it wasn't my thing. Others say you don't taste the goat milk but I did. We tried the salted caramel and added halvel (sp) as a topping - tasted really good but I personally would go for froyo instead. With that said, it was definitely worth... More

Tastes like victory. They must be related to trolls here because they sure do love their goat. The ice cream is all goat milk based and has a bit less sweetness and a bit more tanginess than traditional ice cream which is fine by me. After a cup of this, you don't need a bottle of water to wash it... More

I can't believe Victory Garden is celebrating its third anniversary on Carmine in the West Village. Located just off Bleecker and Sixth Ave close to a park with a fountain, this is an ideal place to stop and get a snack or lunch and take home or to the park. Victory Garden is the product of knowledge and love; the... More

I don't know why the Trip Advisor listing says the neighborhood for Victory Garden is Central Park....this place is in the West Village, miles from Central Park. I read about this place in Edible magazine, which raved about it. I persuaded my family we simply HAD to try it, and everyone was glad we did. The flavors of their goat... More

This is a must place to visit. By saying it has frozen yogurt, I fear that it will diminish what this place a tally is. Everything is fresh made from goats milk. The flavors change randomly and by season. I've tried several and all are outstanding. In my last 2 visits which were back to back I had the salted... More

we tried salted caramel, herbal ice cream and the chocolate, all pretty good, but probably the best combination is herbal with caramel. You can feed a different taste in the ice cream, probably due to the goat milk they use.

After reading a review of Victory Garden in the NY Times, I finally got to visit today. What a nice surprise. First, I do like goats milk. We sampled all four available flavors. They were tangy goats milk, honey lavender, chocolate, and salted caramel. We tried the first two swirled, then the second two flavors swirled together. The flavors were... More

I am dairy intolerant - cows milk gives me troubles. Many of my friends also avoid cows milk products, so we miss out on ice cream. NOT ANY MORE!!! This cute little place has friendly staff and has freshly made locally sourced goat milk yoghurt and icecream. The ice-cream is soft serve - how fun is that? The caramel flavor... More

This unique store is such a hidden gem. The ice cream is made exclusively from goats milk, and is absolutely delicious The flavors are by far the most unique and interesting I've ever come across, ranging from Mexican vanilla to salted caramel to herbal blend to mastic, to name a few. the toppings are unique as well offering rare options... I was walking around with some friends when we were visiting the city last Summer, and stumbled upon this little ice cream shop. They have the best ice cream, all sourced with local ingredients. We had their salted caramel, chocolate, and then one with a bunch of herbs in it from the market. They had a sign saying that they... More
