You get to watch sweaty people sit outside and drink beer and eat burgers. :) Or you can sit inside and drink beer and eat burgers. The price for beer can get a little steep if you are going for multiples....but I guess its average for NYC. I don't think there are any Happy Hour Specials.

Stone Street is an oasis in an otherwise pretty boring neighborhood for bars and restaurants. A mix of Wall street folks and tourists, fun atmosphere and great for drinks and beer. Usually men:women ratio is 5:1!

Simply one of the best hamburger I've ever eat. People friendly, good beer and even the place is quite good. Walking distance by my hotel, I went there twice. I'm going to eat again in this restaurant, very good experience.

I wandered up to Stone Street for lunch yesterday after visiting the 9/11 museum. The weather was grand and I found an outdoor table for two at Stone Street Tavern. The waiter immediately delivered a carafe of water to my table. I ordered a tasty Greek salad and added chicken. Delicious with just the right tang in the dressing--not too... More

Wow, was this disappointing. I went here for lunch with 2 business colleagues. Not one of us actually liked our meals. I got the turkey burger with nothing on it. It was burnt and I mean literally burnt. It was dry and really not flavorful. The French fries were just ok. Unfortunately, that lunch kept coming up on me for... More

We didnt stay long but it was a great experience . We had a chat with the Irish manager who gave us a tip on how to tip as we are confused if its... More

Right in the center of Stone Street is the Tavern. Late afternoon meal. Drinks were strong. Service was great and the Kobe sliders were perfect. I hate when you order a medium rare burger and its not pink in the middle, This one was perfect. Fries also really good.

We frequent this little tavern when we venture into the city to visit with our daughter. The brunch on Sunday is a favorite. Can get crowded in the late spring & summer, but still a pleasure. The Bloody Mary 's are very good as is the food. The atmosphere runs the gamut from relaxing to trendy.

We had a fantastic meal on the day we were leaving New York in the Stone Street Tavern. The waitress was awesome and we were all pretty pleased with our meal and the bottomless mimosas. It wasn't too crowded (during the holidays) but I'm sure it would normally be pretty busy. Recommend this as a great pub
