Nice Little Pub!

Stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday. Wait staff was very friendly. Food was good and priced decent. Portions were large...could have shared a meal.

This is the way to eat! This is the kind of place we wish we could eat all the time. The beer is better when you eat at 156 West 44th!!! Have the Sliders!

I just love this pub, good beer and good service. Always some interresting beer on the "menu" and a very nice and calm atmosphere. Happy hour between 4 and 6 pm.

What a cute little place! We were walking back to the hotel from Times Square and saw a guy holding a sign on the corner for the pub and we decided to try it. The service was awesome, our waitress was so friendly and sweet to us and the food was delicious! They had live music playing, it was such... More

Visited this restaurant twice while in New York City this week. The atmosphere is inviting; the waitresses and bar tender were very polite and helpful to us as tourists. The food was very good--the burgers and chicken wraps were excellent. Good size portions with fresh ingredients. Prices very reasonable as this restaurant is located just off Times Square. There is... More

Dinner on a Saturday night. Typical NYC pub. Small tables, close together with a noise level so high you couldn't hear yourself think. Food was good and portions huge. Service excellent. The noise level is the one thing that would keep me from going back. Loud even for the Big Apple.

I work in the area and we're at OD's at least once a week. The girls take care or us both serving and at the bar. No trouble getting a table at around 12:30, but the place fills up quick. Burgers are very good as is the Cobb salad. My go to dish is the Southwest chicken wrap. It is... More

So to be fair while my steak was awful they did not charge me for it. Toughest strip ever. My wifes burger was very good. The service was poor but again our waitress said it was her second night. I had to ask a different waitress for refills and water. Just not a very good experience. If I had ordered... More

We stopped in for a drink after seeing David Letterman and ended up staying until they closed! The waitress was so much fun and was very attentive. I'm sorry I wish I could remember her name but I believe she was from Ireland and was the best!

I was in New York visiting my son. I came in on a Thursday afternoon in May and met him where he works in the Times Square area. After having a cup of coffee with him, I took off to walk around while he finished his work day. It was a beautiful day in Manhattan and after walking down to... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
