Great Tapas

Shared a bottle of wine and tapas with a friend here and loved it. Everything we tried was really good. The croquetas are a must and also have the crema catalana for dessert.

My wife and I had dinner at Tertulia on Boxing Day and we were not disappointed. This was our second time at this restaurant and were worried that it would not be as good as the first time when we were there with a group of old friends. No worries, it was great. Our first visit was in 2014 and... More

After searching Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor for the best Tapas restaurant in New York, we settled on Tertulia. They had great reviews and were even voted best Tapas in New York in one of the many magazine publications. We were lucky to score a 9:15 reservation on Sunday night. We arrived just a few minutes early, our table wasn't ready... More

We were wandering around the area when we stepped in to this place. We asked the bartender his favorites on the menu and went with his suggestion. It was fantastic!! Nice wine menu too

The atmosphere is cozy, but lively! I strongly recommend making reservations, as the restaurant only seats about 50 people. If you enjoy trying unique, ethnic, and flavorful food, this is a great place to dine. The prices were reasonable and the service was exceptional!

Found on the edge of the Village, Tertulia is a Spanish themed neighborhood gem. Wine list trends heavy toward Southern European selections but wine steward did a nice job "translating" European varietals to the more familiar North American cousins. Small plate sharing encouraged with some adventurous combinations of flavors/textures. Somewhat familiar "meatballs" attracted elderly member of our party but the... More

After stumbling aimlessly around the Village on a Saturday night looking for a place to eat, we found Terlulia on 6th and luckily grabbed a table. Great setting, very busy, very noisy, open grill area. Manifestly a tapas joint but not like any tapas bar I've been in before. In place of the usual extensive choice of small plates, Terlulia... I absolutely love this place. Sangria S are yummy. In the menu you just need to order one of each of the tapas. The fried chilles( a favourite of my family ) are a must try.. Everything was so tasty, the service was wonderful and friendly. Visited here last time in my and will def visit next time I am... More

Very diverse choice of tapas, drinks and great atmosphere. Real Spanish food and service like you are in Barcelona or Marbella. You cannot go wrong with this place for a get together of friends or family.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
