Just finished a Tues. lunch at this rated spot. Simply put: mid week lunch is not a strong suit here. After eating, and wondering why my wife ever picked it, I reviewed a number of sites. Seems like the place works for dinner, especially weekends. Our mid week experience was pretty mediocre. And expensive due to three glasses of middling... More

Have grown hesitant of tapas restaurants, always a fun experience but leave with food regret having spent a lot of money and not having had anything really memorable. Tertulia was different, we actually had a great time as well as food that we would come back for- excellent selection and prepared very well. The small plate concept is a bit... More

Tertulia was a great place for four soggy and cold travelers to hop into on a miserable night. We arrived early for our reservation, actually before the restaurant was open—and were admitted with a smile. We sat at the bar tasting the various hard ciders, some on tap until the official opening bell and our table was ready. Tertulia has... More

On the surface, this spot offers a unique atmosphere and menu. It is served as an experience but you almost feel force-fed. For a Tapas/small plate experience, the prices were steep and the options were very limited. I was hoping to be wowed by the presentation or the food, but a plate of meats and cheeses at this price is... More

If you are looking for a delicious and unique food experience this is the place! We ordered and shared many different tapas plates. They were all very, very good. The squid ink with black rice was truly a treat. Our waitress was helpful, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Tertulia and the prices are very reasonable.

We had a lovely night enjoying good tapas- pulpo, meatballs, crisped brussel sprouts, pig cheek and more. The wine was good and the service OK. None of us were big fans however of the paella. Definitely not a fan of shaved celery root on Paella.

The two of us shared four plates for brunch last Saturday, and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, we had trouble choosing only four dishes; everything on the menu looks fantastic. We settled on the pimientos de padron, croquettas de jamon, and the day's special, huevos al horno. The peppers were very good, crunchy with salt and not oily. The only... More

We had a very satisfying array of tapas including the duck chorizo, pinto moruno, Txipirones a la plancha, devilled egg, two bites pig cheek and ham croquettes. To be frank, the mains disappointed after such a promising start - brussel sprouts, lamb breast were ok and we've certainly had better potatoes with garlic. Service was attentive, although our server did... More

Wonderful way to cap off a weekend with a casual Sunday meal of sharing small, delicious plates of tapas. The unassuming entrance right on 6th Avenue opens to a very warm space that includes a nice bar area and comfortable tables toward the back of the restaurant. We sat near the kitchen and their brick oven. Fun to watch! Exposed... More

Tertulia serves traditional spanish food with a not so traditional atmosphere. The result is a lovely experience.
