We had a lovely night enjoying good tapas- pulpo, meatballs, crisped brussel sprouts, pig cheek and more. The wine was good and the service OK. None of us were big fans however of the paella. Definitely not a fan of shaved celery root on Paella.

The two of us shared four plates for brunch last Saturday, and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, we had trouble choosing only four dishes; everything on the menu looks fantastic. We settled on the pimientos de padron, croquettas de jamon, and the day's special, huevos al horno. The peppers were very good, crunchy with salt and not oily. The only... More

We had a very satisfying array of tapas including the duck chorizo, pinto moruno, Txipirones a la plancha, devilled egg, two bites pig cheek and ham croquettes. To be frank, the mains disappointed after such a promising start - brussel sprouts, lamb breast were ok and we've certainly had better potatoes with garlic. Service was attentive, although our server did... More

Wonderful way to cap off a weekend with a casual Sunday meal of sharing small, delicious plates of tapas. The unassuming entrance right on 6th Avenue opens to a very warm space that includes a nice bar area and comfortable tables toward the back of the restaurant. We sat near the kitchen and their brick oven. Fun to watch! Exposed... More

Tertulia serves traditional spanish food with a not so traditional atmosphere. The result is a lovely experience.

What a nice, relaxed, casual and unhurried gem! Our party had various small plates to share. Had the three cheeses, fried potatoes, tomato crostini, duck sausage( this was a special of the night) with another potato dish. All were very well prepared. Wait staff are most helpful in helping you make a decision. Cocktails were very good too. Only one... More

Tertulia never fails to disappoint. However, it's difficult to write a specific review because the menu changes seasonally and even within seasons. A couple of general pointers though: (1) always go fro anything with jamon Iberico and you'll never go wrong. (2) waitstaff is always extremely helpful in making recommendations. (3) don't be in a rush - tapas are meant... More

Tasty, varied, inventive food. Friendly, informative, yet informal service. Pleasant, bustling atmosphere. As in most places that feature small plates, the tab adds up. But it's worth it.

Went with a friend for an after-work dinner and, well, we loved it. Two small plates, three large plates, oh, yes, the bread pudding and several wines by the glass. Liked it so much, went back the following night with the husband. Just a great place. Crazy delicious, comfortable easy, excellent choices and portion sizes and a really (really) wonderful... More

If you have a lot of time - this place has some gems on its menu. Others have mentioned the choclo - by far the best dish we had. It is a sort of hominy - crispy and with a superb lime sauce. Other dishes were kind of a mix. The Serrano ham is fine - kind of ordinary, but... More
