Wow wow wow!

When the server brought my plate, the only thing out of my mouth was wow! Not only did the food look delicious but it tasted even better. I would have given 5 stars if the server was more friendly.

We were in NYC at holiday time and asked some NYC firefighters for the name of a good restaurant nearby. They actually walked us to Luna. There were 8 of us and it was cold outside so we were glad to have some nice Italian food. The wine was good, the service was good, and the food was delicious. We... More

A must in little Italy if you feel like tasting something really Italian. Ignore the spaghetti with meatballs but go straight for the pizza !

We popped in to this lovely place when just enetered Little Italy and we were starving. The carbonara was really good. The only bad thing was that the soda wasn't cold. Other than that it was a nice restaurant.

Check your surroundings when dining here - you'll then understand Luna's "history". Fabulous food. Impossible to leave hungry or empty-handed. Probably the best red-sauce ever. Sausage & Peppers to die-for. Think every Little Italy stereotype you've ever heard - & Luna epitomizes it. Skip appies/salads (despite being really good) - go directly to pasta - then protein - and, if... More

The restaurant was very reasonably priced and the menu looked attractive, we were not disappointed. The food was authentic Italian so i tried each night the spaghetti which was excellent. Each meal was accompanied by crispy bread, as much as you liked. The deserts were also excellent. After our first night we were not charged for our sweets. The service... More

I took my 13 year old daughter to NYC in June 2015. My friend and her 10 year old daughter joined us on the trip. My daughter is the one who picked Luna's for lunch and it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our meals were fantastic and big portions as well. I will definitely go back... More

Staff was friendly and helpful the tomato basil pizza was delightful. We talked to the owner, she was the nicest lady. This business has been in the family for decades. I highly recommend.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
