Excellent food and service!

My family and I ate here while visiting NYC. It is situated in Little Italy and we were just walking by it and decided to stop and eat dinner. The place is a bit small but it wasn't cramped. The food is excellent! I ordered the smoked salmon with penne cooked in vodka cream sauce and it was out... read more

Luna's is a always on my "must go" list when in New York. The food is wonderful, and the service is excellent. I feel like I am a guest in a good friends home when I am at Luna's - thats what keeps me coming back year after year.

I love this place and have visited here many times over the years! I had a delicious Chicken Francese and my husband had Meatballs and all was wonderful! The homemade dessert, Tiramisu was the best. This is a cute, small place beautifully lit in the early evening hours and is much better than the touristy, overpriced places in the neighborhood.... More

This was a very cold night and as soon as we got onto Mulberry street, the guy outside talked us in. We were glad to get out of the cold. The food was flavourless and not to taste garlic in an Italian restaurant should have told us something. 90 bucks for 2 starters and 2 entrees, no drinks, a little... More

We went in as it was the first place we came across in Mulberry St. We had 4 Meals equaling $47 and 2 soft drinks, 1 beer & a wine. The Bill was an unreadable hand written receipt that somehow worked out to be $100 even, Were are the IRS when you need them.

My girlfriend and her daughter ate there during our christmas (2014) vacation. I have never felt so ripped off ever. I ordered a Medium pizza, my girlfriend order one as well and her daughter ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. The pizza was the worst pizza we had in New York; the pizza was small even for a the medium size... More

If you didn't mind waiting for your food, it was delicious. We waited 52 minutes for main dish to arrive, very expensive and I would not eat there again. Was expecting better service for the restaurant, ordered calimari and spaghetti, Noodles alfredo and vodka penne sauce.(Spelling??) the bill was $100, with tip, $115. Overall not impressed wouldn't recommend or go... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
