Wanted to get Italian food in Little Italy and went to Luna. The food, service and prices exceeded my expectation and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for family style Italian food! Great place!

What an enjoyable experience! We walked through Little Italy, down Mulberry Street, past the big fancy corner restaurants to discover this truly italian family gem. This is a real home-style place. The food was fresh and delicious. My Scampi was prepared perfectly and my husbands Primavera was the BEST I've ever tasted! (and I DO mean tasted, because it was... More

I was meeting a group of friends here for dinner. We are all ex-natives but none of us live in the City now. So needless to add we traveled a bit to get here. Food was great - I had the Penne Vodka. I also appreciated that most of that days' specials were less expensive than the dishes listed on... More

Visited with my adult son for lunch. This was one of the first places we came to when we arrived in Little Italy, so we ducked in to get out of the rain. Overall, very good. It did seem like the food took awhile to get to us, but we were not in a hurry. I ordered a pizza and... More

We stopped in here while in Little Italy and it was one of the best meals we had in the seven days in New York! Our waitress kept our glasses full and the chef checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking! Staff was very friendly and seemed glad we were there. I would definitely go back!

We brought our kids here for lunch and had a great glass of sangria. The staff are friendly, helpful and funny....like two Italian grandpas. The servings were very generous, and the food was delicious. The warm bread and butter and drinks make the wait for your food bearable. It is a little pricey but you're in New York everything is... Food was very good but service was slow. Also was very hot and humid the day we visited. After awhile they finally closed the doors and turned on the air conditioning. Meals were very good and tasty. Only issue is as others have mentioned be prepared to wait. For some reason others get their food before you but if you... More

Service was extremely slow. People who were seated after us were served before us. When we finally got the bill, they had already added a 20% tip for our table of three. When my friend asked for two tens for a twenty, the old man running the place told her she was a lot of trouble. Then the old man... More

Visiting Little Italy was a must on my list of things to do with my family (two adults, two teens) during our spring break trip. We happened upon Luna Restaurant and what a find! It's such a leap of faith to just walk in to a restaurant you know nothing about, but from the minute we walked in through the... More
