Very average.

In comparison to Pierre Herme, it really is nothing special. At least this NYC branch. I heard the macaroons are flown here from Paris and that might be the reason for the average taste. Haven't tried Laduree in Paris, but the NYC one is really not worth it.

Had a business meeting here-- came in too late for dinner but made it for wine and dessert. Macaroons are amazing-- very light and flavorful. Staff was amazing and very helpful in pointing out the different choices. So many desserts in French-- they were great at the descriptions and we ended up with ordering a wide variety of things and... More

The Laduree Macaroon is the reference by which all Macaroons should be compared. Perfection. My first blind grab of the box of 24 was the Rose which was just light enough in the flavor and all the textures a Macaroon provides. The staff was attentive and tolerant as my wife and I struggled with confection decisions. Any man should take... More

The place is absolutely beautiful. Great place to go in the morning and the macaroons are really good according to my girlfriend. I'm not a macaroon fan but I like their selections. Highly recommend this place for couples to go to.

The Macarons are out of this world. So worth the money. If you like Macarons, Maison Laduree is a must stop!

Being in Paris Laduree we went to the NYC Laduree and wasn't disappointed. The service, the decor and the food. You feel our are in Paris instead of NYC. The staff are friendly and attentive and we are allowed to linger with out being force to leave after the meal the food Vol au Vent chicken which I have in... More

I first had these macarons in Paris and they were delicious. I came back home to Baltimore and found out the only Laduree shop in the US was in NYC. So when we went to NYC for our annual trip there, I had to get some macarons. We stood in line, in the middle of winter, for about an hour... More

Where else could get real french macaroons even at $2.70 apiece. The store offers designer chocolate, ice cream and of course the wonderful delicacies that they are known for. Staffed but beautiful French speaking staff affords the Manhattanites a special piece of France.

I came here with couple of my friends and I really enjoyed the experience. It's probably the best place to go for desserts. If you are a large party you should definitely reserve a table just in case. My friends and I had to wait around 15-20 minutes for a table but it was worth the wait.

Delicious and must go place to eat good macarons in the city! Love it and i want to come back to eat more of them! I went to the Soho store which is also on the back a restaurant! I didn't eat but you can easily take them to go!

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
