Small bites with tons of flavor!

I went here with a group of four. We ordered about 8 items and dessert. It was nice because you got to try several different things without being uncomfortably full. I really liked the empanadas and the scallops were a favorite as well. They also give you champagne in the ladies room!

Looks like a second hand boutique from the outside! Fabulous bar, restaurant & club on the inside!!! The most beautiful people of New York were there!! If you like to dress up and be seen, this is the place!!! Fabulous cocktails, food & service! A little on the loud side, but GREAT variety of tunes!!

First place I visited in NY after a delayed flight - well worth fighting the jet lag for. Great service and unusual plates with a funky but relaxed vibe. It was ladies night, so fizz in the ladies restroom - sometimes it's good to be a girl!

Summed up by the title - The good food, great decor and drinks were spoilt by the fact it was impossible to hear oneself speak. Given the fact the tapas style menu should encourage conversation as you can all decide which plates to share, the constant boom simply made this impossible. Needs to decide on Club vs. restaurant

The entrance to this Restaurant is through a Curio Shop which is unusual, but something special ! The decor (Furry walls leading upstairs) and quirky items on display all add to this lovely Restaurant. The food is FAB we tried the Tapas, had various dishes, including - delicious Chicken Meatballs,Rice Balls, Yummy Soup with a dumpling (served on a small... More

They very kindly fitted us in when we turned up 24 hours early. Good decor and a real buzz to the restaurant. Recommendation was 4-6 plates between 2, i'd go more to the 6. The food was ok, it may have been my choice of plates, but it wasn't as tasty as other tapas I have had, . Hence my... More

This is a real surprise as most trendy restaurants in NY are. We sat in the lounge area as there wasn't enough room for a group of 12. It was very loud but we made the most of it. Food good. surprise in ladies Loo a lot of fun

Our concierge at the Nomad suggested we go to this lively restaurant. When we first pulled up it was like a pawn shop and we almost left. The 50 well dressed people out front made us rethink leaving. We entered the pawn shop and went past the bouncer through a private door. The bar was going off great music and... More

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
