A great tapas/small plates restaurant with exception wine options - great ambience - what a COOL place - when you arrive on Essex - you will see a guitar/pawn shop and you enter the restaurant through the shop. The ladies bathroom has a champagne bar - very cool. The food is EXCEPTIONAL - our server HANNAH gave us several recommendations... More

We were recommended this place by my wife's cousin. At first I was a little skeptical because the neighbourhood is not as good looking as some other places in New York. Also from outside you don't know what to expect, but once you enter it is another thing completely! We went there for a Sunday brunch and we ordered a... More

Fabulous cocktails, great sharing food and quirky entrance through a pawn shop. I felt rather old and underdressed for the lively later arrivals, but that didn't stop me returning later in the week. Highlights - lobster tacos, beef carpaccio and caramel milkshake. And bookbinder cocktail. Everything excellent quality. I will be back on a future visit to NY

When we travel to meet friends we let them pick where we eat and this was one of the best so far. The front entrance to the restaurant is a cross between a jewelry shop and a vintage nic nac guitar shop. So if you think you are in the wrong place think again... Out the back through the inside... This was our 2nd time visiting. What made our service so amazing was our server, Hannah. She was very attentive, easy to talk with, and wanted to make sure our experience was the best. She gets 10 stars.

You make a reservation, you get a pass word and you show up to the pawn shop. Low and behold an elegant unique dining experience. The brunch red velvet waffles are to die for. And since it's tapas you can try a little bit of everything. The room is sexy and the lighting makes everyone look chic. Highly recommend.

Cute entrance through an antique store. When you first walk in, it's somewhat impressive. The food was average although the kale salad was quite good. Service was also good. A nice place to spend an evening having a couple of glasses of wine and eating "tapas"

I had read about this restaurant and it definitely didn't disappoint! The food was amazing!!! So good, I wish i could go back and order the stuff from the menu we didn't order. We ordered Red Velvet Waffles, Dark Choc Croissants, Grits, huevos Rancheros, Kale/Apple salad, and a couple other yummy items, but all of them were so delicoius. I... More

if you walked past this place you would never know it was a restaurant. On the outside it is a pawn shop, but on the inside is this amazing lounge/ restaurant. The food is awesome - tapas style. quite expensive, but well worth it. you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
