Very good pizza

Very good pizza. True Brooklyn style pizza that needs to be folded to eat. Only down side is the small size of the restaurant. Fortunately we did not have to wait but got there a little early for dinner.

I've been going to Big Nick's since the early to mid 90's and while I don't live in the city anymore, we try to stop at Nick's whenever we go to the city to visit. It's the epitome of a hole in the wall joint and churns out an unbelievably large array of menu items. Favorites are the lasagna, the... More

I wish I could recommend this place, but I really can't. Each time I've been here, there has been some kind of mistake made on my order, and the food is really of marginal quality, even by "Italo-American" standards. Also, the prices, IMO, are much too high for the quality of the food. Only by using a Groupon do the... More

We ordered a 'medium' pizza. It was massive! Everything was super-sized, including the very generous glasses of wine. The food was excellent and well priced. Not the most fancy restaurant but a great cheap and cheerful choice.

This was my first visit to Big Nicks since they moved from Broadway to this much smaller place on West 71st Street. I am happy to report that the only thing that has changed is the size of the restaurant. The burgers and pizza are still some of the best in the city. The service is fast and friendly. So... More

Great little place and friendly staff. Ordered a basic cheese pizza and it was tasty. Nice place to stop if you don't want to eat at a "stuffy" restaurant.

The perfect New York pizza joint. I've been going there since 2008 and it's always a pleasure. Choice, cheap, very good. You want some real NYC pizza? Don't think and go there . It's amazing!!

My family and I checked in the Comfort Inn on the same block. We asked what is good pizza place, they recommended Big Nick's, so we went. We went to Big Nick's around early dinner time, a waitress (Caucasian curly long brown hair worn in a bun and speaks w/ accent) greeted us and told us we can sit where... More

Eat where the locals eat. Big Nicks is a New York institution, in part because it's open VERY late and in part because of the burgers. The pizza is ok but the burgers are the reason to go.
