Great place for a bite!

We had lunch here with our family of six and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had pizza, a Philly steak sandwich, Caesar salad, hot dog, and some milkshakes. All very good food and our waiter was great! If I have tu give a small word of advice, I would suggest using the bathroom before you arrive. We... read more

Eat where the locals eat. Big Nicks is a New York institution, in part because it's open VERY late and in part because of the burgers. The pizza is ok but the burgers are the reason to go.

We stepped into this place trying to get out of the usual chains. It worked extremely well, great burgers and lovely Greek food All served friendly and efficiently

Went to what I've considered a Pizza Joint with the best slice on the Upper West Side and decided to have a luncheon special (Grilled cheese on White Bread, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Cup of Coffee and Glass of Water) all for $7.95. NOT A GOOD CHOICE. What a Shame!!! I was the only one in the place at 10:30am,... More

The food was ok but not good. The bathroom was filthy, with a leaking hot pipe which dripped water on you. When you walk around the corner there are some better looking places to eat.

Every time I visit NYC I need to have at least once a burger. Its the best, you should try. I usually go with the regular one, but all the menu are delicious.

Someone recommended Big Nick's to us when we were staying nearby. They have a huge menu with something for everyone, but our burgers were just ok. The pizza looked really good, so maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. I liked the place more than I liked the food.

The price was quite reasonable for NYC. The pizza took a little longer to cook, but it was well worth the wait! The personal pizza is really large enough for 2 people that don't eat too much.

I was throughly unimpressed with Big Nick's after reading such nice reviews. The restaurant itself was nice, rather clean and looked like a decent hole in the wall kind of place. I was disappointed that when I ordered the 'eggs any way' I couldn't have them payed even though they offered poached elsewhere in the menu. It took the waitress... More

Stopped here with my family after spending the day in NYC. The place is small but we got seated right away. The menu is huge and there is a lot of options even for me how is a vegetarian! I got the fried mozz and a slice of cheese pizza. Both very good!
