Great place

Stopped here with my family after spending the day in NYC. The place is small but we got seated right away. The menu is huge and there is a lot of options even for me how is a vegetarian! I got the fried mozz and a slice of cheese pizza. Both very good!

Every time I visit NYC I need to have at least once a burger. Its the best, you should try. I usually go with the regular one, but all the menu are delicious.

Someone recommended Big Nick's to us when we were staying nearby. They have a huge menu with something for everyone, but our burgers were just ok. The pizza looked really good, so maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. I liked the place more than I liked the food.

The price was quite reasonable for NYC. The pizza took a little longer to cook, but it was well worth the wait! The personal pizza is really large enough for 2 people that don't eat too much.

I was throughly unimpressed with Big Nick's after reading such nice reviews. The restaurant itself was nice, rather clean and looked like a decent hole in the wall kind of place. I was disappointed that when I ordered the 'eggs any way' I couldn't have them payed even though they offered poached elsewhere in the menu. It took the waitress... More

This place is tiny and loud. I tried not to think about what the health department might think of the setup. That said, service was fast and typical burger was tasty. Onion rings are not "Real" onion rings, do that was disappointing. Waffle fries were great. Figure on spending about $20 a person.

I went to this restaurant during my stay in NY, the food and burgers are really very good, but the staff, in special a Mexican Guy that takes the orders, it's poor. He had no patience to hear my order and was very surly with me. I went again for this restaurant and after one guy assisted me, It's was... More

This place is a throwback UWS joint catering to the neighborhood. I had a burger with good-quality meat, swiss, grilled onions and crispy bacon that was cooked properly to medium rare and served on a decent roll. The lettuce and tomato accompanying were deep green and fresh. You can buy beer or soda, I had a Dr. Brown's Black Cherry... More

My wife and I ate here two of our four nights in NYC. The staff here are friendly. The first night my wife had a bacon cheeseburger and fries -- I had a pepperoni calzone. The second night my wife had an omelet (breakfast served all day) and I had a burger and fries. Burgers are cooked to order.

We recently traveled to New York on holiday and after a visit to Central Park in a blizzard, we exited the park near Strawberry Fields and stumbled on this place. Down to earth, rustic Pizza and Burger joint but the food was really good and it made a change to avoid the typical high end glitz of Manhattan. We ordered... More
