Good food but..

We are here recently and I was thrilled given the fact that I've been cooking their recipes for years. The food was good but the layout is insane so people can't order in a good, friendly manner. The prices for drinks were a bit high but overall good was good.

Small little shop on 6th Ave. Go there to satisfy your sweet tooth. Deserts and cupcakes were very good and flavorful. Staff was efficient all things considered. One of the better bakeries for selection and quality we have found. Won't be disappointed.

Dropped in to pick up some sweets for our hotel room. There was a line up, but it moved quickly. I had a red velvet whoopie pie which was okay, but the chocolate cupcake with banana frosting was to die for. What a great treat for the end of our day. Didn't realize how lucky we were until we passed... More

Since we're visiting NYC, this was our first taste of their yummy treats!!Stopped at 7am to get an assortment of goodies to serve while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The brownies were ALL delicious!!! Of the banana, pumpkin and cappuccino muffins we got the cappuccino were our favorites! No one could agree on their favorite cupcake so we decided... More

We have red velvet, coconut, and carrot muffins webs they were very good. A bit small for the price. I wonder though, what is with the $12 apple crisp?

Went here early Saturday evening. Waited 10 minutes just to get in. Staff appeared overwhelmed. Almost nothing left in the case. Key lime pie cheesecake was good but ended more lime. White cake looked better than it tasted. Texture of the cake was grainy. Butter cream frosting - amazing.

The banana pudding is to die for . I should have gotten the large I swear it's the best dessert ever. only down side is the workers were all extremely rude. I work in retail and would NEVER let my staff treat people the way I was treated. it was like I was bothering them to do their JOB and... More

I love bakeries and consider NYC to have some of the finest We were NYC for a week and went to at least one bakery a day. Maison Keller and Bouchon were standards, but then we happened upon Magnolia on our last day in the city. What a crime! It was splendid and the waitstaff love what they serve. It... More

Friendly, efficient service in a touristy busy spot. Got a selection of takeout cakes. So far we've sampled the key lime cheescake and the spiced pumpkin cheesecake... Mmm! Payment was straightforward and from start to finish (with a lot of indecision on our part!) it only took less than ten mins. Back tomorrow to sample the infamous banana pudding...

Went in mid day on a Tuesday and it was still jammed pack with people. I got their red velvet cheesecake and gobbled it down because it was super delicious. It had a nice crunchy bottom (I'm guessing it's oreo cookie?) and the cheesecake itself was soft and moist, The whipped cream with flakes of chocolate on top added a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
