Cupcake Factory at Rockefeller Ctr

My son was very pleased to stop and pick up a chocolate cupcake here after walking from Central Park. he was a good trooper and was starting to complain about "when we would be getting there" a little too much, (we were meeting my wife at Bryant Park) so we picked up a couple of cupcakes and walked... read more

I had a red velvet cake, and it was delicious. No too much sweet, perfect. If it had been bigger, it would have been perfect.

Great Cakes freshly made you have to try the carrot cake and the peanut and jello cake but make sure you have an empty stomach before you start otherwise you may not finish

Very good cupcakes, among the best I've ever had. Friendly staff, fast service and very fair prices. A new must-visit on every trip to the town

We've had our fair share of cupcakes from places all over the world, and are generally disappointed, that all changed when we ventured into a Magnolia Bakery in NYC. We went back 3 times and tried a variety of cupcakes from the daily special (banana caramel), to regulars like chocolate and red velvet. The butter cream is delicious, and the... More

I have heard about Magnolia Bakery for years and was finally able to try it on my last visit to NY. There wasn't much of a line, maybe 10 people or so and the staff was ready to take your order as soon as you decided. We got two cupcakes and a layer bar (coconut & chocolate). The bar was... More

Delicious cupcakes, - much better than that other famous place from Beverly Hills. Don't worry if you see a long line - even out the door - it moves fast.

I had a very good ice cream sandwich tonight. Magnolia takes a blonde brownie, cuts it in half horizontally and adds a very good chocolate ice cream to the middle. Yes, this is awfully rich and delicious. The magic bar was also like homemade. This small shop is always crowded but worth a bit of a crush.

Couldn't decide on one cupcake so bought two classics: red velvet and chocolate. They were sooo good, good is such a small word for the amazing taste. Any tourist needs to make a stop at Magnolia's, for slice of cake, a cupcake, macarons, a cookie or pudding. Truthful delight!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
