Very unique tapas sized servings. The chicken liver mousse was especially good. Terrific and friendly service.
This was a cozy, comfy place my friend took us to. The staff (Abby) were excellent. No pretentious wine snobbery going on here. If they are out of something you choose, they will work with you to find an alternative. I would definitely return.
My daughter had just turned 21 and wanted to try a lot of wines. This was the perfect place to go. We each tried 3 different wines. They have a great selection and it is quite varied too. The food is "tapas style". Small plates to share. The spicy lamb skewers were our favorite. The salads were also nice. Do... More
Ardesia was just across the road from our apartment and we visited twice to have a drink and tapas type food. The first night was after a trip to the theatre. It was a Friday and the place was full so a bit noisy but hard to complain about that. The service was very efficient and we can recommend the... More

And let me say, all were... More
This is a chilled and laid back wine bar with tremendous wine and amazing tapas. The staff are friendly and hard-working. Highly recommended. The place is small, so there may be a wait!
I work about two blocks from here and have been here twice, but I'm planning on going back as much as possible. Their wine and beer selection is very good, but the real reason to go here is the small plates. So far, I've tasted three different cheeses, their mixed olive platter, the shrimp and chorizo dish, the wild boar... More
My friend and I started our Sat. night here and it did not disappoint. Great wine, small plates, and ambiance. It's small, but comfortably cozy, and not too pretentious. Worth a second visit if I visit NYC again.
This chic little spot was two blocks from my friend's apartment, so we went there often. The wines are tasty and reasonably priced, but I would not call this a "Wine Bar"--I would use the term Wine Café. My favorite things about this place were the staff and the food. The owners and waitstaff are extremely friendly and helpful. Slow... More
