delicious!

Gelato of many flavors...all of them delicious! And they will let you put as many flavors as you want in to the container and size of your choice. Went with a friend and bought a pint container and got around 12 flavors packed in! Of course there is only enough room for a little of each flavor but... read more

After returning from a month in Italy, I would rate Amorino as 8/10 for the assortment, flavor and freshness of their gelato. But prices were higher than anything I saw in Italy. Quite a lineup. The cashier was pleasant The dippers were dippers. I enjoyed the ciacolatto and cocco.

The trademark method Amorino uses to construct a serving of gelato is to frame each portion like a flower, with the sides like petals. Because of that, you can mix as many flavors as you would like into a single serving. The flavors are intense and the texture is silky smooth. They have the best gelato I have ever tasted... More

Just last night, my friends introduced me to the best gelato and sorbetti in NYC! Amorino' reminds me of the cool gelato cafes in Buenos Aires, which I understand are very Italian - as is Amorino's. The flavors range from mango to pistacio to really dark chocolate (all with Italian names) and the taste and texture is superb! I wish... More

We stopped by Amorino on our Cupcake Tour around Greenwich Village. We were given large spoonful samples of the Mango gelato. The taste was so intense and delicious, and it took me back to my days after college eating Gelato throughout Italy. I was ready to quit the Cupcake Tour right then and there so I could stay and eat... More

I first learned about Amorino when I did a Google search for "best gelato in NYC" a few weeks before visiting that great city. I was impressed by Amorino's ultra-slick website and by the company's commitment to sourcing only the purest ingredients. I have tried excellent gelato in several cities across North and Central America, and the one thing they... More

Amorino is known also in Europe, to take it here in New York, brings something special, it taste better. And the take away "piaggio" is very typical. Tasted on the Pier 17.

Many flavours, so every one can enjoy. once you pay for the item, you can taste as many as you like. Also you can get a cone which is arranged with your choice of any and many gelatos in form of a petal or you could get a cup, again you can try more than 5 gelatos in one cup. During... More

My heart skipped a beat when I hear Amorino had made a journey from Paris to NYC. If ever there was a reason to further love Paris and NYC is that they both have Amorino now. THANK YOU TO THE FORCES THAT MADE THIS POSSIBLE. I made my boyfriend take me on a cold NYC day because I was dreaming... More

Unfortunately, the best gelato in New York is not homegrown. It isn't Amorino's fault though. Everytime I go, it is so hard to choose which flavor I want. They are all good. A personal favorite is the passion fruit and the dark chocolates are very good as well.

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
