E&E Grill House is a neighborhood restaurant surrounded by the marquees of Broadway theaters in historic Times Square. We treat all our guests like celebrities. Our calling card? We are a grill house-the fun, more dynamic cousin of the steakhouse. We serve excellent food at fair prices with an emphasis on grilled items and the freshest ingredients. Our menu has tasty dishes that delight vegetarians and fish lovers, - but it's our steaks and meat selections that satisfy a carnivore's cravings!

Good food, modern place

This is a ellegant bistro, with not a great variety of steaks, what I think you should expect of a "grill house", but I have to single out the burger, big, juicy, delicious. The organic chicken was good. Don't know if it's worth a comeback, but I liked.

We selected this cause we were looking for a grill close to the theatre before Book of Mormen. Decor is a bit basic and the food simple. My grilled chicken was tender and was not drowned in sauce which was to my liking. My husband loved the sweet potato fries. Service was fine. Overall a handy and reliable place for... More

We went in on Monday night- a slow night since theatre across the street was closed. Our service was less than stellar. Took forever for waitress to take our drink order. Then, again we waited for her to take our food order. The gentleman at the table next to us was served his salad and entree at the same time.... More

Food definitely did not live up to the price. Menu limited which i do like, but if you limit your fair to a handful of items your food should be "spot on". Salmon was an end piece and was " little fishy " in smell and taste. No real flavor until you pour the melted butter over it. I anticipated... More

Right next to the Ambassador's Theater, serving a wide range of food. Very fresh fish (seared ahi tuna), cooked to perfection. Had dessert as well (flourless choc cake).

Went based on recommendations on Trip Advisor for a place near the Gershwin theater. Had a 5:30 reservation for our 7:00 pm show. Felt great to walk in and find it a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of Times Square area. Service was great. Our table had a wobbly leg and the waitress needed a couple attempts to... More

Close to where the musicals are, good food and quiet atmosphere. Service could occasionally add a smile, but overall a worthwhile steakhouse!

We had a fantastic dinner at E&E the evening of July 4th. Our flight had been cancelled the night before and when we arrived at The Pearl we wanted something yummy to eat so we decided to try the steakhouse inside the hotel. It was delicious! We had NY steak and the filet mignon and they were cooked perfectly. The... More

We travel into NYC for Broadway Shows frequently and either have dinner before or after the show. We came upon E&E on TripAdvisor and also in the Playbill from a more recent show. This place is great! Right on 49th st across from the Book of Morman show, and located next to a small hotel you might miss it, but... More

Rib eye was very tender and seasoned right. My dad loved it. I got the cod and was delicious as well. I guess the only thing I can say didn't like is that the onion soup wasn't as hot as I like it, but was tasty. I can go back any time.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
