E&E Grill House is a neighborhood restaurant surrounded by the marquees of Broadway theaters in historic Times Square. We treat all our guests like celebrities. Our calling card? We are a grill house-the fun, more dynamic cousin of the steakhouse. We serve excellent food at fair prices with an emphasis on grilled items and the freshest ingredients. Our menu has tasty dishes that delight vegetarians and fish lovers, - but it's our steaks and meat selections that satisfy a carnivore's cravings!

Great food and service

Rib eye was very tender and seasoned right. My dad loved it. I got the cod and was delicious as well. I guess the only thing I can say didn't like is that the onion soup wasn't as hot as I like it, but was tasty. I can go back any time.

We travel into NYC for Broadway Shows frequently and either have dinner before or after the show. We came upon E&E on TripAdvisor and also in the Playbill from a more recent show. This place is great! Right on 49th st across from the Book of Morman show, and located next to a small hotel you might miss it, but... More

E&E is on the ground level on West 49th Street so close for the plays. The wine list is not extensive. The oysters were delicious and were presented. They were very fresh. Service was attentive and helpful.

Was a bit sceptical when we booked this as the location has the chance of being a bit of a tourist trap. However, the meal, service and whole experience was excellent. Not fancy food done really well

We tried it because of a Playbill review and coupon. Not sure why they were needed because everything was great. Also, waitress was awesome and really gracious about the coupon. She also was knowledgeable about menu offerings and provided recommendations.

Went here for lunch with two colleagues - service was great. We were seated quickly, food came out in a timely manner (especially important when your crunched on time). I ordered the salmon salad -- love the vinaigrette they use, colleagues ordered the all-american burger which he enjoyed, and another ordered the chicken caesar salad. With all the restaurants in... A great place to dine before a play. There are a few different rooms, each with not very many tables to give it a smaller restaurant feel. The steaks are great, other entrees looked really good too.

The restaurant is in the theater district. Close to most theaters so it is a good place to have a pre show dinner or drinks. The food is good and moderately priced. The service is fast and attentive

This was right beside our hotel. We went for dinner a couple of nights. Food very good. Little pricey but the food is worth it.

We stayed at The Pearl Hotel next door and decided to eat at the E&E Grill one night when the weather was bad. The food was simple but beautifully done. Service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. I highly recommend the side of spinach it was lovely!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
