shake shack - brilliant

Very popular !! The queue was out of the shop and right down the road - so we stood in line to find what why.... And everyone was right - the burgers were the best we had in New York - very tasty. The shakes were gorgeous! We need some Shake Shakes in the UK...!

Oh my! I've been wanting to try this place for a while, but never got around to it till recently. First bite of the double cheeseburger and I knew I'd found the best burger I'd ever had. Nearly cried when I finished it. Damn. Perfection. Rich, creamy shakes. Mediocre fries, but who cares? Excellent staff, clean restrooms.

I. Love. Shake. Shack. We always go to the Madison Square Park location (the best one, in our opinion, as we love that park) but it is shut for renovations, so we trekked up to this location instead. I've never been disappointed by a shack burger. Their bun and patty and everything in between is just always good! Gotta love... More

we have visited the Central Park and after that we went to this restaurant. A really long line, but their staff works really fast and we had our burguers in less than 15 minutes. A really good burger. Stronglly recommended.

This location seemed a bit less busy than the Midtown location. Quick order but the food took about 10 min. Minimal seating but not an issue. Burger as great, shake of the week was also quite good. Give it a try!

Take the kids, your parents, your lover or your spouse and your superintendent. Not all at once. Enjoy a terrific burger and fries and drink and just realize you're eating a meal that even a vegetarian would envy. It's all about quality. It's pricey but occasionally go for it. The staff know their jobs and it shows. The quality never... More

Looks like McD, and the consept is the same. But the quality and taste of the burger and fries is fantastic! Though, quite salty and fatty, not very healthy.

Wanted to have a quick bite after biking around Central Park and their burgers did not disappoint. They weren't greasy, patty was flavourful and the buns didn't overpower the taste. Cheesy fries were pretty alright as well. As other reviewers mentioned, lines are pretty long in most, if not all branches. We luckily didn't have to wait too long for... More

Went to the Shake Shack for lunch after walking through Central Park. We thought the line was going to take forever as it was out the door, but it went pretty quickly and we didn't wait more than 10 minutes for our food. We tried the SmokeShack burger (with cherry peppers - so good!), fries, rootbeer, Shack-cago hotdog and iced... More

During a recent trip to the American Museum of Natural History, we stopped for lunch at Shake Shack. I had heard it was a small place with few tables, so I didn't expect for our family of four to eat inside. We placed our order, waited about ten minutes, then picked it up at the counter when our pager went... More
