Huge

Quite big market where you can find almost everything you need about food. Really crowded but the checkout line is really quick with a lady conducting the line like an orchestra chief.

The food here is amazing and so cheap, really great since I come from the UK where food isn't as cheap as it could be! Only thing I would say though is that staff could certainly smile a little more!

Whole Foods is always a favourite place to eat when we are visiting the states. We have been there for breakfast on our first day in NY and then stocked up on essentials from there to make Breakfast at our accomodation. We have also been there for lunch on at least 4 days so far, on a hot day it... More

I go here often when I'm in the city and there food is really fresh. They have lots of different food to choose from. I go here for the cheesecake and macaroons, and they are the best. The line are sometimes long but worth it

we had an apartment on 14 th so this was an obvious choice to pick up our groceries or eat in. The selection of foods is incredible with hot and cold meals to go, if it's a nice day you could go across the road and eat in union square while watching the locals play chess.

Great assortment and good quality. Something for everyone! Well located just off of Union Square park, around the corner from New School and NYU Professional.

Selection of salads, warm meals, berries, fresh fruits etc is amazing. One can have breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The morning porridge (Caribbean style spiced) was soooo gooood. Try it! We had at least one meal of the day everyday in Wholefoods because it is so good, fresh and ecological as well. If you wish a sweet treat, try a... More

This Whole Foods Market is a great place to either choose from multitudes of selections on the 'bar' (which range from healthy choices such as veggie salads of every kind, to earthy noodle concoctions, fruit salads, bulghar wheat salads and the like) or select something delicious from the grocery area. You may take your food to the second floor which... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
