Asked for one pizza with meat and told not available - says we would have to leave, oh they checked one was available? Another guest had eggplant which was tasteless grey blotch on tasteless pizza base. All took 45 minutes cos chef had cut himself! Overpriced pretentious rubbish

With Vegans in the family (but not all) we found a good spot. Freshness was the key and their slices and pies were great

We stumbled across Slice as we were wandering through West Village and what a welcome find it was. It was a bitterly cold November day and we were given a friendly welcome and offered a complimentary sample of hot ginger and apple cider, which was delicious and warming. I had chicken chilli and my husband had the vegan soup -... More

Great pizza (Pro Barbeque) last night. Friendly service. Reasonable price. The large 20 inch would easily feed three or more especially coupled with a salad.

We stumbled upon Slice while strolling around looking for a cool hip place to have lunch and when we saw, organic and natural thought, cool let's try this place. Now I wish we'd skipped it! I ordered the pizza with goats cheese and arugula and asked if I could maybe get some of the chicken on it as well? Ya,... More

We had a nice lunch at Slice, but the pizza wasn't nearly as good as we'd expected from all the raves we'd read about it -- it was perfectly okay, and it was cut into small, easy-to-eat, bite-sized slices, but it really wasn't exceptionally tasty. Also, the salads that we got were good but (again) not really great or especially... More

I first saw this place while waiting for friends for dinner in West Village. We had some time to kill and walked around and were simply tempted to walk in and check the place out. I could tell the deco and friendly service were terrific but unfortunately we had other dinner reservations already, so we excused ourselves and left. The... More

We came upon this restaurant while walking around West Village and the Pizza was really good. We had the Guru and and the skilled Eggplant and both were great. The mixed garden green salad was tasty too and may be because it was organic. The ambience was awesome as we enjoyed the beautiful weather when dined outdoors.

A really different pizza place where you can choose from whole wheat, herb or gluten free crust and build your toppings from there. As someone allergic to wheat it was a joy to find a wheat free pizza that was really well executed and delicious, crispy, tasty and thin crust. We also took a friend's 3 chihuahuas and were allowed... More
