Just had my third meal in three weeks at The Dutch, just down the street from my new office. Nice relaxed vibe. Uni appetizer, shrimp salad and omelet all nice, light and tasty. Even though it is busy, you can have a real conversation.

I was staying at a hotel down the street and the staff recommended this restaurant. The menu is small but the food is great and certainly not boring. I was dining by myself for lunch and the place can get very loud so I wouldn't recommend it for large groups because you couldn't hear each other and the place was... More

Put in our name with the wonderful young ladies up front...and when we returned at the designated time, they ushered us right in...no extra waiting. The wine selection is phenomenal!! Start with a mix up of various oysters appetizers...you won't regret it! Our group ordered a variety of dishes, from pasta with lamb (really good), to seafood specials (even better).... More

Sounds to me like you were the obnoxious customer and thru wanted you out. The Dutch has always been great, and knowing they booted your bridge and tunnel butts from their table makes me want to go back more!

Went here for a pre-theatre meal on a recent trip and really enjoyed the food. Nicely presented, interesting flavours and combinations. Loved the warm corn bread. Good selection of drinks and cocktails too. Staff attentive and friendly. i would agree with some of the reviews here that it can be a little noisy, but I didn't find that disturbing.

This restaurant is well-reviewed and I expected more. I enjoyed a three-course lunch there. The service was good, and it is an attractive restaurant but the food was uninpiring and the presentations left a lot to be desired.

It's a good place for a group of people, less for couples, nice, trendy, not quiet. We had bloodymary, good but not excellent, steak rather than oyster (as the place is renowed for this in the neighborhood), two desserts, expresso for both, we spent around 150$, quite high but still aligned to the Soho area.

This is my third time there and it just doesnt disappoint. The food is excellent I had my usual selection of oysters. Outstanding!!! I followed that with a wonderful Skate Schnitzel all washed down with an excellent Pinot Gris - such an underrated wine.

Glad we booked ahead... cool and bustling, but not in an overwhelming way. Fantastic food and great wine too. Yum.
