There was three of us on a Saturday night. They were nice enough to hold our reservation for 15 minutes. The food was excellent and there were some very interesting entrees besides the usual. The service was very attentive. It is noisy but I think most places are any more. It is on the upper end of pricey. For three... More

The service is very good, the food is very good, the menu is definitely interesting, the specials are fascinating.....just don't plan on being able to talk with your meal partners and have them hear you or on your being able to hear them.....unless you get there very early and no one else is eating, or you stay really late and... Went to The Dutch on a friend's recommendation. We couldn't have been more pleased. It's out if the way if the hustle and bustle, and laid back. The Bloody Mary's were excellent, and our party of 4 were all very happy with our food, which ranged from the Salmon Bagel, to Oysters, to a Turkey Sandwich, to a Burger. Service... More

First, I do not like giving bad reviews. But this dining experience was just not good. Average food that is very expensive ($85 for eggs & bacon with cappuccinos - we did get a cheese tray but that was it). Second, any place can have an off night and the service was by nice people but just too slow.,

Depending on who you ask, we think this is a classic from Carmellini. Well situated in Soho, open air windows in the front (when weather permits), this restaurant never dissapoints. From the winter Rabbit pot pie to the summer meat and veggie dishes to the donuts and delish desserts. Go with family, friends and anywhere you sit, this place hugs... More

This place enjoys both critical and popular success, and I came with high expectations. It is a very attractive space located on a busy corner in the heart of Soho. The hostesses were very warm and friendly, and the servers were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the décor and service far outshined the food. The portions were way too small, the... More

I've been to this restaurant last May, during my first stay in the Big Apple. It is very centrally located, in the heart of Greewich Village, at the corner of Sullivan St and Prince St. The restaurant is quite big, with different rooms; however, it preserve a nice and cosy atmosphere, with lights turned low in the evening. It is... More

I followed the recommendations from a few different sites and was glad that we did. There was a very fun, lively crowd on a Tuesday night. Restaurant has a great ambiance, warm and casual, but with personality and eclectic style. Service was just right without being overwhelming and the recommendations were right on, we enjoyed everything we ordered and wish... More

sometimes recommendations from friends don't meet expectations. Going to The Dutch exceeded. Nice NYC buzz and ambience, super California wine options. The four of us really enjoyed light, exceptionally well prepared dishes...kudos to the staff, attentive and friendly staff all round in a busy environment. Reasonable prices, worth splurging on one fine bottle of wine. Will be back...

It was a rainy, chilly fall day in Manhattan and I was hungry, wandering the streets of Soho, with time to kill and a cold that was coming on. I finally just wandered into The Dutch, at the end of lunch (1:30 or 2 p.m.), and took my bedraggled, wet self into the restaurant. The greeting was lovely, my wet... More
