The Dutch is a mainstay when visiting NY. Don't miss out on Fried Chicken on Monday nights. Otherwise, food and atmosphere always vibrant and full of flavour. Sit in the bar or at a table in the back - consistently a good meal and great service!

We have eaten at Locanda Verde many times - another restaurant by Andrew Carmellini and tried the Dutch just recently ... it was a phenomenal meal ... we ordered a pesto pasta and roasted chicken and both were outstanding ... another great job by this chef! Highly recommended for atmosphere and food!

This place seems to be a locals favorite. I went to have dinner early, so even without a reservation we got a table pretty fast. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and the food is delicious. I could only say that a table for 2 is pretty small (from what you see in other places of the world) so there... More

Happened on The Dutch while wandering South of SOHO. Had a very nice beer and food in a place that was obviously a local favourite. Lots of the customers seemed to know the staff so it has a large proportion of regular customers. Filled up quickly to lunch time. For a tourist the window seats are probably the prime spot... More

Great pancakes and delicious pie but overpriced. The seating is very snug so be prepared to have someone almost on top of you. Descent service.

Arrived in town, checked in hotel and asked concierge a place for a nice lunch. He sent us here. It was good. My husband had the CRISPY OYSTER ROLL, CAJUN REMOULADE, OKRA, FRIES and I chose MUSHROOM-CHEDDAR OMELETTE, WATERCRESS SALAD. Beer and a nice glass of Rose' completed our meal. Nice service too. Fun and lively place.

Table for 2, the welcome is nice and pro. Waiters and maitre D are also pro. We had the scsllops and the tikefish, well presented, tasty, good size. A little bit noisy. The bar showed a good atmosphere.

I came here due to the great words I red on Lonely Planet guide, but it was a true disappointment. Maybe I'm used to the style of the Italian similar level restaurants and I expected more, but really here I didn't find anything that surprised me. Limited choice and poor execution, the lam I ordered was purely rare and not... More

We came mid day when it was not busy, we were able to sit at the open window bar area which in my opioion is the best spot in the house. The weather was perfect, breezy and the people watching was fun. We really wanted a drink and something light and just a good place to sit awhile. We split... More
