Found this gem while doing an internet search of restaurants near the theatre district that offered whole wheat pasta and pizza. Very friendly greeting and informal ambiance. Had a bit of a scare when the waitress came to take our orders - she said that the whole wheat pasta wasn't always available! What??!! We explained that this was the very... More

This restaurant is located 1 1/2 blocks from Times Square. It is a basement eatery with great homemade dishes. The bread was toasted in olive oil. This is my personal favorite place to eat in New York.

I stayed at the Belvedere hotel in the same street (48th), and we wanted to test "real american breakfast". We read some recommendations on the Patzeria and I can confirm they were not over-evaluated ! We had a rich choice, huge (typically american ?) quantities with fresh products, and a lovely welcoming by the staff. We were 5 min away... More

This was a great place to come to. We brought our family and felt like we were at home in San Diego. The food was great and the service was very friendly. We came at night and had a intimate experience as a couple. The waiters and bartender were the best. No one can beat De Niro and Pacino. Tony... More

Service: Was not attentive to my needs and preferences when it came to taking my order due to fact the order was deliver work and took some time to get it to the table, and very equally enthusiastic when it came to serving my food you'll need to ask for items a couple time before getting it. The service here... More

When you enter Patzeria Family & Friends, expect to be treated like family and friends! You are greeted from the get-go by the Bartender and everyone that pretty much sees you who works there. Our waiter was very friendly in the best NYC traditions of earthy warmth and humor. The food is pretty good. It's going to be down-home comfort... More

Our family ate breakfast here when we were staying at a hotel nearby. The owner greeted us as if we were family and sat us right away. Cute, little, tucked-away place that served a good breakfast for a reasonable price. We would eat here again if in the area.

Walked by this place in the afternoon and made a reservation for that night. When we arrived the table was not ready and the place was full. The owner had us go to the bar and bought us a round of drinks, but we were not seated until an hour later. Once we placed our order the cheese sticks never... More

We went here before a show on Broadway. We had booked for six o'clock so we could enjoy a meal and have time to attend the show. We ordered our food at 6.15 and enjoyed some very nice mozzarella sticks with Mariana sauce. At 7 we asked where our main course was and were told it would be 2 minutes.... More
