Great place for lunch after the Circle Line Best of New York water tour

We asked a Circle Line security person where to eat after our wonderful tour around Manhattan Island today, and he sent us here. I want to thank him. 3 of us had a great lunch, with great service in a bright clean diner at a reasonable price just a short walk away. Advise sharing plates, as two... read more

Good food, portions way too large! 60's diner vibe. Could use a bit of updating... Washroom leaved a lot to be desired.

What an amazing diner. Huge menu, great food and service. Just how I imagined a diner should be. The manager is a character how strong is the coffee asked my friend 'it is what it is' he replied. Quote of the holiday. Loved it, highly recommend.

We went here for breakfast before my friend got married what a last meal lol The portions were HUGE, the poached eggs in my Eggs Benedict were some of the best I have EVER eaten and the booths were large enough to seat like 10 of us in each It was a great experience

This diner was amazing, from the staff to the food. You really need to visit this diner for an amazing breakfast. We had the pancakes with bacon and eggs which were so delicious. We wished we had more days holiday as we would go back everyday to have the food.

Chose to come here as good ratings and love to try new places. Sadly out of 3 breakfast diners sampled while in NYC over Memorial weekend this sat at the bottom On a plus it has a great look and vibe of atmosphere so our expectations were high as we arrived and were sat in a booth quickly by a... I live in the Hells Kitchen neighborhood and wouldn't think of going to a diner when we have so many restaurants to choose from. But frankly, many of them are overpriced tourist traps. I was with friends checking out the new Gotham food court on 11th and couldn't seem to find anything that constituted a decent meal. Everything was too... More

I went to this diner based on few reviews I read but was disappointed. I ordered eggs sunny side up and bacon. Instead I received scrambled eggs and soft saggy bacon. It was not tasty. Only good thing was the coffee. Will not be back, completely over-rated.

Had breakfast here one morning when staying on 11th Avenue before a cruise. Food was excellent, great coffee and orange juice. Service was very friendly and efficient and the diner had a pleasant environment and was spotlessly clean. Would definitely return if I was staying in the area in the future.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
