Wonderful

I've been to this diner the last 3 times I visited NYC. 24/7 diner not far from Time's Square. Classic diner feel, which was great. The menu is a bit pricy, but the portions are worth the price. I love Market Diner and recommend it to anyone looking to get some good food and good service!

Fantastic food, great breakfast the first time, friendly service and great prices. Second time we had dinner and we werent dissapointed, huge portions... More

We have recently returned from a half term break in New York and discovered this traditional American Diner. From the first breakfast we knew we would be coming back for breakfast for the rest of our trip. Varied menu choice, speedy service and great staff, friendly and professional. They even made us up some sandwiches for our journey home. Highly... More

Ate here a few times as just down from our hotel. Food and service was amazing! Huge menu with a great variety. My favourite was French toast for breakfast and chicken souvlaki for dinner.

I visited this diner twice on my four day visit to New York. It was recommended by a friend who lives nearby. She was SO right in her tip. The food was delicious, there was plenty of it, and the service was great! They even split the check without us having to ask.

We enjoyed the market diner so much we kept on coming back. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and I am a meat eater, but there were more than enough options for both of us. The free coffee was great, we also liked that the place was full of locals and NYPD officers. All the staff were friendly especially one of... More

Thinking of moving to Hell's Kitchen so that I can have breakfast here every day. Tasty food, well priced, excellent service, fab coffee and really clean. Please will someone open one in England, back home two days and missing it already.

This place was perfect!!! Great service and magnificent food. And portions to knock your socks off. We were served by Kathy - what a lovely lady who enjoys her job and is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to any tourist wanting an old skool NYC diner experience

We researched authentic American diners in NYC before arriving and visited a few, this was easily the best! As soon as we sat down we were given iced water and offered coffee which came very quickly with regular free refills. The waitress was really friendly and the service was great and really quick. The diner itself is was clean and... More

I've been to the Market Diner for breakfast and lunch several times when I am in the city. This diner has a huge menu to pick from that I know you will find something for anyone, even the pickiest of eaters. The diner is SUPER CLEAN, food comes out fast and hot. The service by the Greek guys is amazing.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
