The lobster roll was everything said before but kind of small for $16.95. So many different things to choose from that we covered our table with lots of dishes and shared it all. Shrimp spring rolls were also terrific.

I really wanted to like this place but even on the most brutally cold mid-week morning in March it was mobbed with tourists. I am also a tourist but try to keep it a little low key....on the day we visited there were huge groups just taking over the place and all the seating. This was before midday and not... More

Great tasting Lobster, freshly steamed!! Good value lobster in an informal environment..don't expect fine dining in this place its all about the freshness and quality. Served as you'd expect with garlic butter, simple and enjoyable. Would eat here again.

Loved the atmosphere of Chelsea's market! The lobster roll was delicious just not very filling and expensive. Great if you want to sample a bunch of different cuisine in the market. Definitely worth trying!

Located inside the Chelsea Market (which is a great afternoon in itself) gives the Lobster Place a very cool vibe to it. Lines weren't too long despite it being fairly crowded. There was not enough seating available which is really the only downside, and there is almost no other seating within the Chelsea Market. I ordered clam chowder and my... More

Had lunch at the Lobster Place today and will likely go back tomorrow as well so that should say it all. It's a seafood place in New York City's Chelsea market and has an amazing selection of fresh Seafood, Soups and Sushi. I had the Sushi which was fresh and tasty. The Lobster Bisque was thick and creamy. For a... More

is located in a fantastic market, full of shops, food clothing, accessories. Nice atmosphere. We decided to eat lobster on the advice of friends. Very good, sin that is heated to steam and inside was frozen. Great accomodation, fast service, good taste. I recommend it

Lobster was perfect. Was difficult to eat with tiny plastic forks but that was the fun, everybody was struggling. Watch and Learn.. Thats what I did and it worked. Won't miss it when next time I am in New York.

Overall good eats - about 20-30$ pp, depending on how You order. Food was good mostly seafood with a limited menu for non-seafood lovers. Steak was ok, stick to the seafood.
