Arriving into the city at 9AM gave us a lot of options for brunch, while I really wanted a traditional NYC brunch from Cookshop, my cousins insisted on Chelsea Market to grab something fast and easy to make sightseeing easier. We had a collection of various soups and chowders from The Lobster Place. The clam chowder was missing the clammy... More

My daughter and I shared a large beer and the sliders combo between lunch and dinner. Everyone else seems to be diving into the live Maine lobster (well, mainly the Asian tourists probably because lobsters in Asia can cost even more than NYC). Our sliders were good, but not great; though I must say that they went really well with... More

Chose this spot out of all the goodness in Chelsea Market and I was very happy with my choice. Had a lobster roll for myself and shared a full lobster with my party, both were excellent. If anything my only complaint about the roll is that I wish it was bigger because it was so good. The lobster was as... More

Pefect for a lunch in the middle of the High Lane walking excercise! Chelsea market is just a block away the High Lane. Located inside the fancy Chelsea market among other nice restaurants and few trendy shops. It is a real fish and seafood market where locals are buying. They do super fresh oysters, lobsters and sushi which you eat... More

I was looking for a just a little something, nothing to heavy when I came across the Lobster Place in Chelsea Market. I picked up a California Roll and some edamame and was pleased to find it was fresh. The edamame pods were delightful with a nice pop when I bit into it.

If you're looking for a fresh seafood treat and above all lobsters, don't look any further... This is the place to go to. I tried the lobster roll, which was delicious though pretty expensive for such a small sandwich ($17). However, may makes sense considering you're getting lobster. Highly recommended if you visit Chelsea Market.

After walking the High Line reward yourself with a lobster roll from the Lobster Place in the Chelsea Market. The lobster roll was reasonably priced and had good amount of meat which was not over-powered with mayo. Despite the crowds we didn't have a long wait and took our roll to eat on a seat up on the High Line... More

They make a perfectly steamed lobster and great deep fried shrimp. After a long walk down from the circle line tour via the high line our lunch went down a treat! There is unfortunately not adequate seating and you eat standing up in a very crowded area.
