In Chelsea Market

The choices are overwhelming, could eat there for a week and still not repeat a meal. The LP is a quick eat at the stand-up bar or take-out. Although the Chelsea market is a tourist mecca (nee, trap) and always very crowded, you can't beat the sushi and fresh fish found here. The prices aren't the cheapest around but all the fish and seafood is super fresh.

Great location in covered market surrounded by other quality bars and eateries. A perfect way for my girlfriend and I to finish our week New York. Chelsea Market is a must see for something different when visiting NY, location is a real hidden gem. Highly recommend ordering from the raw bar for starters which offers great oysters, clams, scallops and... More

I had the lobster roll and it was fresh. My husband had the crabcake sandwich and that was ok. A lot of people were eating whole lobsters that had just been boiled. What is interesting to look at is all the raw seafood in this place. They have live lobsters in bins to either sell or cook for you there.... More

Upscale seafood market with extraordinary flavor. Seats are scarce mostly standing room only but well work it. Spent the day in the city and took the family there for a late lunch. We had the lobster bisque, mussels, lobster roll, Tarrogon shrimp and scallop burger and nothing was disappointing. Really enjoyed it.

We visited this place after seeing it at the chelsea market. Its a great place for all types of seafood. With my love for seafood I could not resist. I was so glad I tried the 1.5 lb lobster, it was amazing and so succulent. I would definitely go there the next time I am in New York.

1 lobster, 2 1/2 pounds (for two persons), approx 50 USD. Very tasty. :) Expect almost no sitting area, but also a lot of other seafood (clam chowder, sushi, mussels, etc). Fresh and crowdy. There is a bar adjacent to the market, but it is much smaller, has sitting places and staff to serve you. This gives a better impression.... More
