Huge selection for everybody.

Staying in Hotel 31 a few blocks away, we initially ended up here to grab some yoghurt and a coffee. Normally I never have breakfast, but in NY the first thought that crossed my mind when I woke up was to eat as much as I could in this place! Pizza, pasta, soup, bacon, salmon, sandwiches, rice... read more

Initially stopped here for breakfast with the whole family, but returned twice in the next days for snacks and more breakfast. This is not an haute cuisine experience, but nor does it pretend to be, and you can pretty much get whatever food takes your fancy (and more you hadn't even thought might take your fancy) at almost any time... During our recent 4 night stay in NYC we found a Bread & Butter located a short 2 minute stroll away from our hotel. The wide variety of food options was very appealing ranging from sandwiches to soups to pastas to pizza, you name it, they had it. We attended a few times, both at night on the way back... More

This is a catch all for food. Whatever your craving you can find here. They are a jack of all trades, but unfortunately a master of none.

Had one of these directly opposite our hotel and was open 24/7, this is an amazing place, with more food than you could ever want, hot or cold, sweet or savoury. We visited several times for a sandwich that were made on the spot for us, good value and quick service, highly recommended.

Found this place which was really close to our hotel when in NYC. Very reasonable prices and a plethora of choices! The food was good and well priced. If you are looking for something quick and easy but of better quality than your typical fast good joint, try Bread and Butter. Great alternative for a quick bite to eat that... More

This review is for the 5th Ave location as there doesn't seem to be a separate listing for it. We stopped in here for a quick breakfast after arriving in NYC early morning. The selection was fantastic (buffet style and made to order meals) and great value for what you get. All the staff was friendly and helpful and the... More

This place has so much to offer, from a light snack to good hearty food. Service was spot on, but it was totally made by the food, this is one place this British person will miss more than anything in New York!
