Come by and drink :)

We went there accidentally during our walk in Soho. We looked for the place with good drinks and we weren't disappointed.

We were very dissappointed with Burger and Barrel - we had it highly recommend, but it was very expensive, and the burger costing about 20 usd, wasn't as good as some of the five usd burgers we had in NYC. There was nothing wrong, it just isn't worth it's price or reputation.

My wife and I really enjoyed the burgers. Get the BMC. This place has won awards for their burgers and I know why. The wait staff was excellent. We are definitely going back when we are in the area!

I loved this place as soon as I walked in. They'd created a great ambiance with low lighting and candles that really worked well for the space. Our decision to visit was for our quest for the 'Best Burger in New York' and our waitress recommended that we try their award winning signature burger which we ordered without hesitation. And... Enjoyed a fabulous burger..In fact..their bash burger has been voted BEST in NYC for the past 5 years and they have the trophies to prove it! Order the 3 course special. It is only offered on Mondays. I had the chilled avocado soup ( like velvet) bash burger (melt in your mouth beef ) and the fresh made apple fritters... More

We came here for a Sunday dinner on Fathers Day. Lamb burger was very flavorful, just perfect. Bash burger was delicious and paired with a really good horseradish sauce and sweet-potato fries. Pork ribeye was almost perfect, a bit too chewy, but delicious anyway. Cocktails were very well balanced (Cool as a cucumber is refreshing, and surprisingly not much of... More

I titled my review the way i did because the service was great. Allison our waitress was bubble, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu but the service out of the kitchen was so slow. We waited and waited, luckily we weren't in a hurry. After much research about NYC burgers, I had actually planned to go to another burger restaurant... More

We stumbled across this place during our visit to NYC and had a very leisurely lunch on a cold and rainy summer day. The soup and burger / sandwich deal was excellent value for money, generous portions and well presented. We all opted for wine on tap and the lady serving us made excellent recommendations. The service was excellent, very... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
